The food was way too expensive and it was average.

What a great addition to this type of food, the soups were fantastic and the sandwiches, and the food I took home, This place is still in their "Soft Opening" so things are not perfect, and anyone who thinks otherwise should give them a break. The staff is decent, and the owners over the top nice. I hope this place succeeds, Its clean, good food, and a good place to get some traditional food. My wife who is from Europe loved the Matzah Ball soup and my daughter loved the Chicken noodle Soup, the Split pea was on the money. Give the place try, been there a few times already. People should want a place to succeed.

First time going to Pastrami House Deli and ordered NY Style Potatoe Knishes, footlong Hebrew National Hotdogs with mustard and sauerkraut & fries. All items and especially the fries, were delicious and comparable to any New York Kosher Deli. Will definitely go back again to try other items on the menu!

Eating the first half of my Russian Special inspired me to write a review. Just a great place with tons of quality and tons of options. Hard to imagine someone not having a great experience. LOVE IT

Second time to the pastrami house in Berkeley Heights the owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly.We are from New York originally and the pastrami is delicious and all the food bring us back home.Great addition to Berkeley Heights restaurants and we will be coming back.

This place has great sandwiches and quite a variety of other deli eats. There setup is quite nice and the staff is very friendly.

Great family owned sandwich joint. Staff are all beyond friendly and the food and options are excellent. Had the pastrami sandwich with some Latkas and could barely finish , outstanding. My new weekly lunch spot. Would definitely recommend.

The food there is top notch. The cyclone is phenomenal. My first experience here and it was great! I can’t wait to go back. Jon and his staff make you feel right at home.

My husband and I showed up at 710 on a Friday night to get a loaf of bread unaware the store closed at 7pm. Instead of turning us away, we were invited inside by John, one of the owners, to select our bread. He was so friendly and inviting and had a huge smile on our face. After we selected our bread, he said he had to bake it for 15 minutes. Instead of making us wait around for it, he generously offered to drop the bread off at our home in Berkeley Heights. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, he showed up to our door with the warm bread. The bread was delicious and made an excellent sandwich. John and Pastrami House go above and beyond for their customers! We will definitely go back.
