Parthenon Restaurant

Ordered Pita with spicy feta, garlic feta and hummus. Partner ordered a gyro wrap.Although basic dishes, I feel like on our individual trip they were mediocre. My partner's gyro was underwhelming, and the meat lacked texture. The pita was an equivalent size of a small taco tortilla and was a bit doughy. I do not recommend the spicy feta or hummus but the garlic feta was spectacular. Again didn't try any specialty dishes but if you're deciding on dishes I'd recommend against these.

Always love the Parthenon. You cannot beat the quality & service of this restaurant. The vibe is upbeat & someone is always ordering the flaming cheese appetizer, Opa! This past visit we called for a take out. We selected the delicious Gyro Family Meal. The order comes with gyro meat, pita bread, sandwich fixings (lettuce, tomatoes, onion & clitharacki sauce), plus choice of 2 sides. I always ask about Chef's veggie choice, and was not disappointed this time with Greek style green beans (beans sauteed in garlic with onions & tomato sauce). Highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Greek food. Awesome service. Amazing desserts. We try to stop any time we are passing through Lincoln.

Food is strongly flavored. It's good. We ordered 3 different meals and some were better than others. I was glad to have the pita bread and rice to balance out the main dishes.

The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and did great. Food was pretty good. We both tried new things, not sure moussaka (sp) is my thing. But I ate it all. Finish on the tables is breaking down, looked dirty but probably wasn't. But the table tents, drink specials cards were sticky. Bathroom floor was slippery/ greasy.

I feel bad that I waited till now to leave a review I’ve been coming here for many years and I’ve always had great service and wonderful food I think it’s the best Greek food that I’ve ever eaten been to many Greek restaurants around the country. The owner is great he always comes and checks on you personally to see how things are they always have great specials and if you don’t like Greek food they always have different options and you’re also wonderful.

Great food! The atmosphere is okay nothing too special, and has a Greek vibe to it. Back to the food, it has so much flavor and is very well done. The service is good too, very friendly staff.

Great food and very friendly staff. I love their vegetarian options (the eggplant dishes and falafel are yummy!!) and they also have consistently good pastries like the baklava. It’s always a good experience to stop by the Parthenon.

Chicken portabella was a lil dry but they exchanged tho another entree for the issue so that was gracious of them. Especially in valentines day!!!

Been going here for years, always one of my go-to spots. My best compliment is I've never had anything here - food nor drink - that approached sub par. Tonight's meal of a ribeye with a appetizer of broiled baby octopus was simply amazing. In all the years coming here I've never had a steak, why did I wait so long? My Manhattans were done absolutely perfectly as well. Always a treat going here, so glad I live so close!

My wife & I love eating here. If you want authentic Greel favors from a Greek family this is the Greek place to go to in Lincoln. The meals, & deserts are difinately a nice change from the typical chicken or hamburger norms. By the way the service is great too, never helicoptering over your table, but never pretending you don't exist either. Give them a try, you may be surprised!

Great service from server and chef, hostess not so much, didn't even get me a table. Great food, sometimes a bit salty. Best thing of Parthenon... desserts, their crème brûlèe was great, they didn't ask what kind of sugar did I want, but the waitress was very nice.

Great food work a great atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and the staff was very informative about the menu.
