Parkway Bar and Grill

This was our second time to eat here, and we brought my parents. The place was pretty busy for a Friday, but we isn’t had to wait for 10 minutes, so we may have been at the tail end of the rush. Close parking is always full, but they offer shuttle service from the other parts of the parking lot, which is nice. The first time I ate here, I got the gyro sandwich. Don’t get this dish here. It is truly awful, and same quality as Sam’s Club meat. I didn’t see it on the menu this time. This time, we got other food, and it was very good and plentiful. The chicken fried steak was crispy, the gravy was creamy and good, the potatoes were decent. The corn was a bit over cooked. The other dishes were spot-on. Everyone was happy with their food. We took one star away because this place is incredibly noisy. It is almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting. We come door the food, and not the atmosphere.

Parkway is a good neighborhood restaurant. They have a large menu and food is good. Portions are HUGE so come with an appetite. Lots of games and activities throughout the week.

Love the fish and chips. They are hand breaded by the chef. And, yes, there really is a chef in the kitchen!!

Was getting my car worked on across the shopping center and asked them for a good spot to get some food, both of the mechanics told me to go here .... I'm glad they did! Dan the bartender was great, him and the staff remember most of the customers by name! I love places like this...fried pickles are a hard one to find done right and these were the best I've had in 10yrs(was traveling out of state when I had the best lol) and they had a great menu that I cant wait to get back and try for dinner. Also had a AMAZING d.i.p.a. from river north brewery that I'm going to check out next weekend!

Hubby and I have been here 3 times now. Each time, we've tried something different. The food has not disappointed. This place has delicious food and huge portions.

Great atmosphere and THE BEST spinach artichoke dip I've ever had.
