Downtown Raleigh Restaurant located at the entrance of the Warehouse District, Parkside is situated on the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets across from historic Nash Square. It was this urban park, one of the four original parks in downtown that inspired the name Parkside. Housed at street level and under the longest running neon restaurant sign in North Carolina you will find our doors, which have been the threshold to hospitality for this neighborhood for over one hundred years. Parkside believes in continuing this tradition in every way. From the warm red brick and reclaimed barn wood clad bar to the NC solid poplar tabletops, we want our guests to feel welcome. Whether you are sampling one of our 25+ beers on tap or enjoying our chef inspired locally sourced fare, your experience is our priority.

First time visiting Parkside. Simple menu, somewhat limited. Went for the signature Parkside burger. Tasted ok but not the best burger I've had. The menu said it came with avecado but I never found it. A nice sized slice would have been nice for a $13 burger. The side item was fries. Maybe the smallest order I've seen, again for a $13 burger. The service wasn't speedy though there was a light crowd. Ordered a cider on tap. It was good but the menu said it was $6 and was charged $7. I'm learning that things are complicated and anything can happen so I try to keep my expectations low. Hence, the three stars. Maybe I'll give it another shot at some point. Though, if you've been around Raleigh for a while, you might remember Joe's Place. I miss Joe's!

We came for a Sunday brunch and this place was excellent! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was fast and pleasant. Leah was our waitress and she was very attentive to our questions and got all our orders just right. My friends got the bananas foster French toast and the pork chop and loved them!

Good food and drinks but the meat on my prime rib was pretty fatty and the bananas foster French toast was drenched in sugar. Besides those 2 points everything was good. Our server was friendly and there was a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
