I had had some time while waiting for my train at the Amtrak station, so I decided to walk across the road and check this place out. It has a nice small and warming environment. The drink menu was great. I tried the brussel sprouts and steak as well, and I surely was not disappointed. I only took points off because it took quite a while for the steak.

Located across from the Amtrak station, this restaurant has tasty, fresh Mediterranean food that's perfect for these hot summer days & evenings.The portions are not as large as American fare but definitely more than tapas. The whole, fresh ingredients more than make up for the volume and the food definitely is rib-sticking. Flavorful & delicious!I recommend you try the 3-dip/sauce plate as an appetizer, so you can sample their spicing. We got Tapenade, Hommos, & Tzaziki. Very good! It comes with piping hot, freshly made Naan. Some of the best Naan in Cville.They have a decent menu of wine & beer.I also recommend the Pork Belly sandwich & the Spicy Chicken sandwich. Both used the wonderful Naan as the bread...more like a wrap. Both YUMMY! And the spicy IS spicy!Service was efficient & knowledgeable. Good job!Glad we tried them! We'll be back.

Very good. Shared plates that are quite generous and very tasty! Will definitely go again. Delious salad with almonds, goat cheese and beets. Love the presentation!

My husband and I stopped here for an anniversary drink and it was EXCELLENT. The bartender was so kind and a joy to chat with, as we were the only guests at the bar for quite some time. We ordered from the happy hour menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back!

I really wanted to love this restaurant. It is very good. Service was friendly and excellent, our cocktails were delicious and innovative, the hot pita bread was phenomenal. The dishes we had, while good, just seemed to be less spectaclar than I'd hoped for, given the reputation Parallel 38 has. The artichokes seemed to be the ones you buy at the store, and the boquerones were not the true, delicate and tangy Spanish version in oil. Will definitely go back and have another try. This is one of the better stars in the C'ville firmament.

Best d*mn food that I have had in a bar/restaurant in a long time. The chefs and staff are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is original and a great mood setter. Street side parking with a lot nearby. Prices are appropriate for the quality and knowledge that is given. Definite spot to visit. 17 thumbs up.
