Paraiso Restaurant

This is a hidden gem in Uphams Corner. The restaurant is owned and managed by an entrepreneurial mom/son pair. Ramon is very welcoming and eager to teach you about the cuisine. Despite the limited staff, the menu is tremendous and all of it is SO good. Kick back, have a beer, watch TV, listen to soft music, and enjoy the large portions of yellow rice, red beans, plátanos, seasoned meats, salad, and more. I love this place!

In Boston for the weekend, decided to check it out. Place was not busy at all, the hostess, which happens to be our waitress, was great! Place does most of its business from take out orders. As for the food, very good, it's made fresh. The Mofongo was the best I've had!

Ambience looks good.But food was ok.During lunch they have the items in buffet style where you select items and they bill according to items you pick.Its kind of ordering from menu instead looking at the itemsThey hav to improve in terms of cleaninessFood tastes good.. but not excellent..
