Talk about a great place to get a bite! Staff are very friendly and have been very quick to serve, on the multiple ocassions we have been. The food is always been great and the pricing is really decent. Can't think of a time we have went and have not been pleased we decided to go there.

Fattening Texas food. Gravy on everything if you want it. Salads with cheese and ranch dressing. Half the people in here are mega obese and the other half are old as Methuselah. They have fantastic chicken fried steak but my plate was entirely khaki in color with no veggies but the crowd here loves plates like that... it's evident. You should eat here once a month... maybe

First visit here and it's amazing they boast about having one of the best chicken fried steaks in Texas and they delivered. I've had them all over and it was just amazing. Tons of flavor in each bite, great mashed potatoes, great gravy. Sweet tea is a little less sweet then what I would call sweet tea but that's about the only complaint I have.

Just happened to stop by one day. Had chicken and dumplings. I asked our waitress if she would have my grandmother to come out and say hello to me. I am 67 years old. Good food!

I ordered steak fingers and when I got home I realized they gave me chicken fingers however those were the best chicken fingers really good! I ordered a margarita as well it was REALLY SMALL so get a large if you order one but it was good! The catfish and crawfish was tasty

Great food great service. There had to have been at least 18 women in our party and each of us wanted Separate Checks and they were so kind to do that for us. We had one waitress and she was very efficient. I opted for tortilla soup because it was so cold outside. Very good! I've never made it with tomatillos before. Will try at home. I'm definitely going back.

We were amazed of how great the food was! The Rib Eye Steak was to die for. Grilled to perfection. Our server Ms Bonnie had such awesome service we will surely come back to see her. Her recommendations were fabulous and extremely delicious!

One of my favorite places in Houston! I love the Chicken & Sausage dinner with Broccoli-Rice-Cheese Casserole and Fried Okra! In the past, I've also had the Hawaiian Chicken, a Chopped Steak, the Pork Loin Chop, a Grilled Catfish, the Bunless Wonder and several other dishes. They're all good! We've been coming here for more than 15 years and the food is always fresh and hot. Too, the people on staff are always attentive and the facilities are clean. Highly recommended.

My favorite the scorpion tails & watermelon margaritas. We celebratd may Birthday & I got a taste off everyone s plate. Everything was delicious!

Wanted some homestyle food for lunch so tried out this spot. Service was great. Got the chicken fried steak with double mashed potatoes. Too eager to start that I took a bite of the mashed potatoes before I could snap my pic. Would have liked a second order but had to get back to the office.

Great service. Food was so good! Took leftovers home and they were just about as good the next day!Fairly busy on Valentine's day. Good steady flow of customers the entire time we were there, everyone was happy, food was coming out consistently, staff checked on you but not annoyingly, and I didn't see one thing go back into the kitchen. My SO goes quite often as it's near his work. This was my first time but will be back for sure!

Great Service! Waitresses and personnel knows how to make you feel like home. Food not a question, taste great! 100% recommended if you visit Houston.

Cute little place. The shrimp po boy was pretty good. Staff is SUPER friendly. Seems like there are a lot of regulars here who seem like they love it.

Jennifer is a great bartender! Stopped in for a quick bite, had the scorpion tails trio and a basket of chicken tenders. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for some homestyle meal.
