Panasia Sweet and Savory

Came to try Malaysian and Singaporean food as we miss eating it. Our dishes were not as authentic but it was decent enough. Price are reasonable. Spacious restaurant with lots of seatings. They also have a indoor patio section. Good for big parties as the long table can seat up to 15-20 people.

I'm very disappointed with the food here. The first time my husband and I came here, we tried the char kueh tiaw and curry laksa. Food was rather bland and did not taste authentic at all. We decided to give it another try. This time we had the asam laksa and chili pan mee. Although the noodles in the asam laksa were good, the broth was way too sour and diluted. They also used pineapples that were starting to go bad. The chili pan mee tasted nothing like what it was supposed to taste like. The only thing we liked here was the durian roll. Panasia cannot do Malaysian food.

I love this place, so sad to see them leave....relocate I mean. Hope they relocate somewhere not too far from Alhambra.
