Everyone knows about the hotcakes (get the strawberry with brown sugar). But if you're in the mood for something more savory than sweet, try one of their excellent omelettes with toast and lyonnaise potatoes. The potatoes should be just as famous as the hotcakes; they're absolutely fantastic. Good service and I love the little pot of coffee they leave on your table so you don't have to worry about refills.

Love decor, so many things I want to try, decided to go with the Chorizo hash and wasn't disappointed. Definitely a hidden gem in the strip district!

Great diner that is a favorite of locals. The crepe style pancakes are excellent. Be warned, it's a cash only business.

Definitely a must for any trip to Pittsburgh. Fantastic breakfast spot at reasonable prices.

Pamela‘s is an iconic, delicious Pittsburgh tradition that I have enjoyed for years. However, there are three things that need to change. I am not the only person who no longer uses cash. At least debit cards should be excepted. If I am required to walk a couple blocks to an ATM to pay my bill with cash then I request that the handwritten tab be legible and totaled with tax, which it rarely is. Finally, it’s great that the restaurant has been endorsed by a former president of the United States but two paper-thin pancakes are not worth $6. My last experience was disappointing for these reasons. I’ll probably choose a different diner.

Had the blueberry hotcakes, eggs, ham and corned beef hash. Really yummy. Empty plates!

Taste that brings you home and fills you up from a 50-60s themed restaurant. Just be careful for lines on weekends.

Excellent food on the strip. Small restaurant, bring cash. Ordered chorizo hash and pancake style crepes with the wife. Crispy crepes, huge portion of hash and chorizo. Great place for brunch

This is mine and my dad’s second trip to Pittsburgh and the one restaurant my dad remembered and requested to go again. We’ve only ever had breakfast and it was AMAZING! Today I tried the Croissant French Toast at the recommendation of Maggie, our waitress, with a side order of the Pittsburgh hash. I love the salty and cheesy flavor of the hash and the croissant French toast was sweet and the flavors melded perfectly. Will definitely be back again, oh and cash only.

This diner is so great. We visited the Strip District location and have to say that the service and food are awesome. It was crowded on a late morning Friday, but were seated very quickly. We ordered the spinach feta omelet and the corned beef hash for breakfast. It's cash only but the prices are so reasonable. I live in the Philly suburbs and can't wait to go back.

Has that old school diner feel to it. Cash only. Breakfast and lunch menu. Had the Pittsburgh hash and it was scrumptious. Friendly service. Right in the heart of "The Strip".

We are visiting from SC and some friends recommended Pamela’s Diner. Everything was delicious and cheap. The pancakes are the best I’ve ever had! The bagels are good too and just the right texture. Food is very low priced and you have to pay with cash!
