Amazing couscous. The chef, Lionel, brought the recipe with him from Paris. His Algerian Jewish grandmother brought it with her from her hometown of Palikao to France. One of LA'a newest and most exciting additions.

This place is a lot more than meets the eye. Don't get me wrong, it's a neat, attractive storefront, and it seems like your standard Mediterranean food at first glance. But this place has a lot of nice blend with French and Algerian influence.I got a pita with chicken tangine which had a nice depth of flavor alongside vegetables and sauces. The pita was unbelievably warm and fluffy. Truly my only disappointment is they can't make beds out of their pita.

I was very proud to see our traditional couscous in LA. The place is very friendly we feel like we’re at home. Honestly, it’s the best couscous I have eaten after my mom’s one. Thanks a lot Lionel. It was a pleasure to meet you. Whenever I come to LA I will come to eat this delicious couscous.
