Dinner was good, food was fine, but not great. Best smoked salmon I've had in a long time though! Service was good, what other reviews might say. And always a pleasant surprise to get free tea with the last dish.

We had a great 10 course meal at this Michelin star restaurant in Kyoto. Was worried due to some negative reviews but the waiters and staff were all super friendly and catered to our dietary needs. Pricing is comparable to international rated restaurants.

A little overpriced but they do give you a lot of food. There was not very much explanation about which each dish was, but the staff were very friendly. The sashimi, mackerel, and the soup with gold leaf were delicious. The rest of the dishes were not really to our taste and the ingredients felt quite repetitive (we had the same broth 3 times). I don't think we would spend the 32000 yen to repeat the experience again.
