Great place to have near by. I found the atmosphere and service particularly good. In New York, service can be polar opposites. This place struck a good balance.

I had the chance to visit Optimistic Cafe and was pleasantly surprised! In a city littered with coffee shops at every corner, Optimistic Cafe stands alone amongst them all. Not only was the coffee great, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about many types of coffee. When visiting this place I suggest asking for Ralph. Ralph exudes passion for coffee, which came in handy when deciding my beverage. This place is a must visit for coffee lovers!

Solid coffee with beans from Counter Culture Coffee. The regular drip coffee, which tells a cafe's story for me, was not over brewed. The barista was friendly, and the cafe space was welcoming. A large coffee is $3.50, which is reasonable for a well brewed quality bean in midtown.

Amazing little sanctuary in the middle of Mid-Town.I love this place, it feels like a cozy getaway in the middle of a busy work day. I hope they are around for a long time, please come spend your money here instead of going to Chopt for the 4th time this week. Thanks! :)
