Fantastic American fare restaurant in the Bowery where Little Italy meets Chinatown. Cozy and intimate inside with a small seating dining room and some less formal bar seating. Staff is informative, inquisitive, and knowledgeable. Would not suggest taking children. No accommodations available for them. This is a date night type restaurant. Even though the bill will run $35 - $50 per person for dinner and drinks the food is 5 star, the atmosphere excellent and cozy, and well worth the time spent to go.

In some way its a conterbalance for all Italian joins around - they offer American food, not Italian. Fantastic location, almost in the heart of Little Italy. However prices IMO are too high.

I can strongly recommend this place! Fresh and delicious food. Staff was so sweet and smiling and super professional! Cocktails well done, little overpriced though. Nice and cosy place to sit and chill. Not very much space.

Cute, quiet, dark, sweeter with your sweetheart. Bar staff is excellent. Food, not what Google says is on the menu is actually on the menu. That said: if short rib anything is available... Get it. Also, deviled eggs are wonderful and the tiny corchons are perfect. Plus the ceiling is made of this beautiful wood. Furniture is superb (for a pub). Bar and stools are comfy. Dinning benches are plush. Nothing should disappoint.

If it weren't for Google reminding me of where I finished out my debauched nights, I would never have remembered this place. Fun, intimate, zero attitude, neighborhood bar (formerly a brothel in the 30s) with a real Soho feel. Great cocktails, polished but not quite 'artisanal', just tasty. Plenty of terrific eye candy for whatever team you're on. Check out the platters of oysters, and the calamari!

For a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in this neighborhood there are few better places. The building itself is beautiful inside with high ceilings and a long wood bar. The seating is open and spacious with one area designed more as a lounge and the other half for dining. Beers on tap were decent and the mixed drinks looked good too.

Busy bars but good services

A nice and cosy place. I only had drinks there so I cannot comment on food, but the plates coming out of kitchen looked appetising. Staff pleasant and polite. If you plan to spend an evening here, make sure you have a good credit limit on your card or a bundle of cash. A Cosmo and Manhattan cocktail cost me a staggering 32 USD excluding tip. Same drink where I live is substantially less. Cost of NYC and poor UK exchange rate I guess

Had my cosmopolitan here. While we were here a Sex and the City tour stopped by. I was doing my own tour. Cool place, great food and friendly service.
