Definitely have to check this place out if you are in the atlanta airport and you have a longer layover. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxing visually stimulating. Our drinks were made well and were reasonable when you consider you are in an airport. The sushi was pretty good, our favorite roll was the kamikaze closely followed by the southern roll. While we were eating another patron asked about the flooring which the waiter then explained was from a barn that the original owners had on their land and was shipped to Atlanta. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

Great spot if you're looking for better-than-bar-food at the airport. It would have been nice if they had more vegan options but our server Ray was very accommodating and had some dishes modified for us. Cool atmosphere, decent drink list with a few local beers on tap, and very good food, prepared fresh. We had the Curry Cauliflower Soup, Green Pea Hummus, Vegetable Hand Roll, as well as pickled vegetable side, and a side of veggies that I mixed up with some rice and ponzu. We had two hours between flights, so for my wife and I it was a no brainer. Recommended.

Fantastic food, if you find yourself in the airport in Atlanta with the time to catch a meal, OFS isn't just good by airport standards, it's good by any measure.

This is a really great airport restaurant, a must stop if you're in Atlanta. Amazing sushi and burgers.

Not your typical airport food! Well worth the walk/ride from whatever terminal you are in if you have the time.

Probably one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. The bartender Delae was excellent. The cauliflower curry soup is amazing.

I had the salmon and avocado roll and ramen (the ramen was based on the waiter’s recommendation) and was quite disappointed. Maybe it’s because I’m from Toronto where the Asian food is great. This restaurant is way overpriced for the quality of food. See ramen pic - where’s all the broth?! I should’ve just gone to Chick-fil-A.

Just another 5 star review for One Flew South. It's not airport food, it's just a great restaurant. Anytime I have a long enough layover I make my way to E concourse and have a local beer and a great meal. Staff is friendly, the decor makes it feel like I'm not in the middle of the world's busiest airport. I have been many times and will continue to go back, strongly recommend.

This is a one of a kind airport restaurant. The food is delicious and high quality, good wine and wonderful atmosphere. Makes me think of the golden age of flying. Waiters are courteous and on top of their game. Manager walked through the entire restaurant asking each table how their meal was. Impeccable service all around. Sushi in the $13-$18 range, meals in the $25-$30 range with burgers as well. Great cocktail menu.

Really was looking forward to eating here. But after waiting 20 minutes for my Salmon Hot Pot and it was undercooked I can't bring myself to going above 3 stars. They did make me another and it took another 10 minutes. That meal was good.

This place sure knows how to please their customers. Consistently with a very friendly demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always tasty and neat.

One of the better restaurants in the ATL airport! Service is decent. Lots of food and drink options. Great wine list - in photos. It can be a tad noisy during busy hours, and service suffers a little bit, but it’s an overall great upscale vibe and a good place to grab a drink or some sushi before a flight.

Let's be clear, when you read "best airport restaurant", understand what the competition is. With that level setting, I would agree this is the best restaurant in the airport. With that comes a premium price that outside an airport wouldn't be warranted. This small restaurant has inside, "outside", and bar seating. ALL of it is via wait list - you cannot go sit at the bar if you see an open stool. The food is rather unique for airport food - I had grouper, and there are other interesting items on the menu. Sushi is good (for an airport), but compared to a real sushi restaurant doesn't come close to matching quality. If you're looking to sit down, eat food that is fairly close to a "real" restaurant, One Flew South makes it happen. I'll def choose this restaurant over others when I fly through the Delta terminals.
