I love the concept of table carpets! They were pristine - how do they keep them so clean? It's a cozy dungeon of a restaurant. Very dark, so don't go if you're hoping to enjoy nice weather. But the food is good, the beer selection great, the fireplace is cozy, and the service friendly. My two year old did great, but not a place that is catering to kids per se.

Nice place. Beautiful village like ice. Looks very affluent and well heeled. Big boats and big cars.

Called in here for lunch after visiting Muiderslot. Food was good and at a reasonable price.was nice sitting out watching the boats go through the lock.

Old bar with a rich history, looks great, feels great and eats/drinks great. If you do go to muiden, this is one place you have to have been to.

Lovely local pub and coffee place. Opens early for coffee. This is one of those rare local pubs, where the locals gather and the outsiders are welcome.
