Way too hot downstairs

Great staff. Great food. Great reception. Price is good and it has children menu. Also, that nice amaretto or limoncello shot at the end of the meal (for free). Just great! Really recommend it!

The star is only for the staff being friendly. Otherwise the food was disgusting. That is definitely not Italian food

Couldn’t disagree more with the last review. Just had the most wonderful meal - excellent freshly prepared food, generous portions and and very friendly and amenable service, willing to cater to individual and specific tastes. Great to have an Italian restaurant in this vicinity too, adding a bit of variety to a heavily kebab orientated scene. Would encourage anyone to give it a try and hopefully give some consistency and stability to the rather too transient restaurant trade in Stoke Newington.

Worst customer servic anywhere.Missing meals, so people waiting to eat when everyone else had finished theirs.When late meal arrived not fully còoked.Staff caused a big scene over £3.00 under payment.Rest of the food was just average. These people ruined a family birthday celebration. Avoid this place.

Yes a nice restaurant

My experience after Oliver’s Italian reopening has not been good, not at all satisfied by the food ordered. The ambience is lovely and pleasant. Before it reopening I had tried the pizzas there and my colleagues too loved it. Thus was anxiously waiting for them to reopen and when they did, looks like d chef does not seem to really care of what he serves the guest, which was shocking.Had ordered for the Lasagna Romagna and it was burnt at the bottom and chewy. When advised and showed the server, she advised will let the chef know probably it must have remained for long. And well nor did I hear back from the server what the chefs response was. Thus leaving me disappointed with the food and service. Considering it being good before it was reopened wonder what went wrong. Hopefully the food is well delivered, especially when they emphasis on being freshly homemade :(

Customer service was disgusting, food was also tasteless and off putting. The pasta was uncooked, the lamb was rock hard & soaked in gravy, they ran out of dessert. Awful

What a lovely Italian restaurant... Delicious fresh food with gluten free options.We (Golden Girls Club) went out for a good natter and catch up and dinner at Oliver’s was perfect. We didn’t have to wait too long for our orders and the food came out hot and freshly prepared.Staff were very accommodating and inviting. This cosy Italian restaurant with its intimate setting is a welcomed contribution to the high street. We would eat there again and would recommend.
