Olive Cafe

We loved having breakfast here during our vacation. Loved the scrambles and bowls. The open air patio was cozy and relaxing. They were much busier on Saturday than Friday of course but we still found a table and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Pretty good food, great coffee, and quick service. There were two minor mistakes on both of our orders even though we asked specifically at the counter, but nothing we couldn’t do without (or pull off a sandwich). A number system would be easier than sitting and waiting to hear your name called across the cafe if they’re going to bring your order to your table anyway.

This place clearly knows how to take care of their customers. Regularly with a helpful demeanor. The food is conveniently priced, constantly tasty and clean.

Had breakfast there with my family this past weekend and it was great. The staff was super friendly and the food was very good. It was such a cozy place, we ate there more than once during our stay in Mission Bay.

The vegan options are excellent and yummy. The bread is fresh.

Peaceful patio seating and cozy indoor seating. Staff is excellent and breakfast was fantastic.

Had their lavender vanilla tea and it was go good! Highly recommend

We ordered, then waited a long time for food to come out (over 40 minutes). We went back to counter to ask what happened. They didn't admit it, but they appeared to have lost our order. It came out 20 minutes later, and was wrong. They missed one order. Since we had waited so long, we spread out the food we had to everyone in the group. But 10 minutes later they came out with the missing order, but told us that we needed to pay for this since they hadn't charged us before. We had paid for it previously, but just wanted to be out of the place so paid again. The food itself was mixed, some hot and tasty, other cold and disappointing. I wouldn't waste my money coming here again.

Stumbled across this place randomly last year and it was delicious. Back in the SD area again now and had to include as apart of my plans to dine and it’s just as delicious as I remembered. Portions are huge and prices very reasonable. I’m not a pancake person but these pancakes will change your life. Will be back anytime I’m in the area for sure!

Great food and coffee. Perfect patio. You order at the counter, then find a table and they bring your food. Even though they were super busy, we were still able to get a table and our food pretty quick. Wish all restaurants ran as well as olive!

Cute place! Shared a scramble with my bf. Super good food, friendly service, excellent latte and blueberry scone. I also loved that today, 45% of sales went to the Susan B Komen Foundation. That made me very happy that I chose the Olive Cafe for breakfast today.

Good service, but cheap ingredients. The coffee was good, but our food was a bummer. They have all the makings of a great place, but the food itself needs an upgrade.

Yummy! Delicious chocolate chip pancakes with banana and cream and scrambled eggs with hash browns. Good coffee too! Reasonable prices and friendly service. I recommend having breakfast here. :)
