I've been to a number of other Old Nelson markets (including the one inside 30th Street Station), and they're definitely a great choice for just about anything you might need from breakfast to snacks to sandwiches and salads, a huge selection of beverages, and last minute grocery items! This one is conveniently located near the intersection of 13th and Market; close enough to the train and subway stations. Stopped in during the lunch hour one day for a panini, and even though I didn't want the sun-dried tomatoes that were included on it, as listed on the panini menu, they so graciously obliged and left them out. It was a great panini! I had to wait a few minutes while it was being prepared, but it was worth it. Old Nelson has plenty of great options for any time of day!

It's OK! I don't know if something has changed with the products they use, or it depends on who makes the food. The hoagies used to be delicious. Here lately, they're not tasting the same. The produce is fresh, & the meat and everything, but it's something about the roll that's just not the same. The bread used to be firm on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside, but now its not that way. The texture is not the same. They are flat with no substance. The manager was kind enough to replace the sandwich, but it still wasn't the same. Every sandwich lover knows, its the "BREAD" that makes the sandwich.

Great sandwiches! Inside is small and on a nice day you can eat outside. Its definitely a great place for lunch if your on the go and don't have much time. The Reuben was on point! So many different chips they have to offer!
