Old Hamburg Schnitzelhaus

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Aside from the food being absolutely delicious, the service and atmosphere was so friendly and warm. We came twice while on vacation, with our 4 young kids - "late" (for kids) 8pm - and were greeted and attended to with such warmth. They are amazing. Especially Yvonne, our spectacular waitress/hostess. Can't wait to visit them again.

Soooo oo good! Service is beyond friendly. Food is made with love and mind blowingly tasty. Get the schnitzel picatta w chicken! The mixture of uniquely sweet cabbage with the sour capers was amazing. Good beer on draught too. Definitely going back.

You feel like family here. The food is top notch and authentic, the Riesling and German beer is excellent, but what really makes this place so great is the people running it. My family came a couple times during our vacation a few weeks ago because we enjoyed ourselves so much! You’ll go home happy and VERY full.

Best Restaurant on Anna Maria Island. If you are looking for an authentic German dining experience, this is the place. The service, cooking, music, atmosphere, decor, etc. is right out of Germany and is not to be missed. The food is fantastic and the service is attentive. Plan to spend 1 to 2 hours to enjoy your meal. You will savor the experience more this way. As someone who has visited Germany, I really relished this experience and highly recommend this place.

Our meal was amazing. (Sampler,cheese spaetzle, potato pancakes and schnitzel pizza). definitely would add the Schnitzel pizza to the regular menu...our favorite as of tonight...thanks for staying open during this crazy time😊

I lived in Germany for a few years so I know authentic German food and this is definitely authentic and extremely delicious German food! Everything from the beer & schnitzel to the music & decorations reminded me of being back in Germany again! And the owners/ workers were so friendly! Loved this place and will definitely be back the next time I visit AMI!

A nice change of pace. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The surroundings are pleasant and comfortable. I have enjoyed the sausages, schnitzel and sauerbraten.The chocolate cake and strudel are excellent!
