Food and service is amazing. Went here with 5 friends on a Sunday and had to wait a bit since there isn't a whole lot of seating. Definitely worth the wait though.

It's food. .. somewhat more affordable than other places up here. .. The food just isn't good enough for the prices they charge but if you're hungry & live in running springs, it's the most affordable option so... I like their pie but they give tiny pieces. Their Belgian waffle with strawberry sauce is great but they charge extra for the strawberries so it ends up being like $12 or something for a waffle...

This is a wonderful stop on your way up to big bear, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

This place is always so good to us! The food is incredible for just being in a book in the mountains, they are always so nice and friendly. My favorite is the bean and cheese burrito deep fried! Or for breakfast, the bagel sandwich! You will not leave hungry! One of my favorite go to places. Unfortunately they don't have many vegan options but nevertheless still a great joint!

The cook in the back (that I see almost every time I'm there) doesn't know the definition of "swamped." Having worked in kitchens in my younger years, this dude handles any amount of tickets with ease and cranks out quality, and consistent meals. Well done sir!

This was a nice little diner in Running Springs. It has all the quintessential diner things from the old signs and memorabilia on the wall to the classic breakfast dishes (a nice break from all the trendy try-hards in SD). It is busy (on the weekends) but the staff were nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. Not much room if you are waiting, but the turnaround on the tables is pretty quick and efficient. They do have a lot of Mexican dishes too on top of the traditional ones. It makes for lots of great options to choose from! I got an omelette which was delicious but I would not get the side of biscuits and gravy if I am in the area again. Hash browns were great and they ask how crispy you want them.
