Great outdoor patio which is also dog friendly. Good happy hour and the filet dinner was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a return visit.

Good food and service, but pricier than the quality deserves. Great staff very helpful and friendly. Felt like a pub with fine dining prices.

Good cocktails. Kind of slow service. Don't bother ordering the cornbread, it's tiny for the price. Pulled pork was good though.

Being from Texas we have a high bar for brisket and Old Capital Grill & Smokehouse did awesome at reaching that bar! My middle son and I shared the brisket for 2 and thought the brisket was perfect, juicy and full of flavor. The mac and cheese had a wonderful flavor to it. The green beams were a bit on the firm side but the brisket and mac made up for it. My son enjoyed the mini sliders and my husband liked the brisket street tacos.

Great atmosphere and service. The bathrooms were clean, but the food was mediocre. We order bison nacho, which tasted nasty. Wings that were really big, but the flavor was not that great and they tasted horrible reheated. A really expensive house salad that was just a bunch of lettuce and a bison burger. The burger tasted off ...my friend took 1 bite. It was not super busy for a Saturday during lunch so we did not have to wair...which was nice. The food is over priced for the taste and quality. I will not return

Had the brisket sandwich. Probably the best French dip ever. Better than a lot I've had made with prime rib. Large portions and pretty good fries.

Visiting Colorado from Pennsylvania for a cousins wedding and stopped in with some family! Amazing service! Great food! We had the Barmen Pilsner draft beer which was also amazing! Our waitress, Reagan, was on top of everything and was great!

I frequent this unique place once a month as I love the special atmosphere that is part of this restaurant. The crew is exceptionally welcoming and experienced. The service is deeply fast. Most important, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I came more than once and I was always satisfied. The payment is reasobable. I highly suggest this place to all my friends.

Have to say this place was pretty amazing! We were served efficiently and our food didn't take too long to prepare. They don't have a huge variety, but everything we had was absolutely delicious! Fried pickles and the artichoke dip were delicious. Also recommend the bison burger. If you have a group larger then 4 or 5 I would definitely call in advance and reserve a table. They offer reservations, so take advantage of that. :) Not many restaurants have it anymore.

Food was alright, I recommend the brisket sandwich. Fries were also good but the bread on turkey sandwich was so toasted it was difficult to eat. Not burnt but extremely hard. Everything seemed around five dollars overpriced. Service was good.

Located right next to the famous Golden arched sign as you enter the strip. Welcome to Upscale decor with the old town feel. The food will not disappoint. The bison burger was great! Topped with grilled onions and spring lettuce. The BLT was far from traditional and had thick cut slicked pork belly. Kids plates were perfect with chicken tenders and sliders. Great service and outside patio seating. We sat on the side of the building which offered a great view of the mountains.

I'm giving this place a 5 stars because of the courtesy and professionalism of the manager who reached out to me because of a mix up on a bill. Not only did they resolve the issue but she followed up with a phone call as well. Well done! I highly recommend the ribs, they were delicious. You can't go wrong with the grilled brocolli either. Patio seating is great this time of year as well.

Pretty solid little spot in downtown golden serving up some bomb burgs.

This place is great! Homely feel, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Mule I had to drink was amazing and I highly suggest it!
