I was so excited to eat at Oenotri as they are recommended in Michelin guide and claim to offer Neapolitan pizza from the traditional stone oven. I’ve been to Naples, Italy and LOVE Neapolitan pizza. While the place was nice and full of people, the two pizzas that we ordered - classic margarita and zucchini - were not even close to the pizza I ate in Naples. The dough was NOT stretchy and chewy, but stiff. You can see the sharp edges after the bite. I wish they put more mozzarella, as I could hardly taste any, and basil leafs were also very sparse. All in all, maybe for someone that never tasted the authentic Neapolitan pizza before, it might be ok. Otherwise, don’t waste your time.

Everything was great. I'm not sure what could have made the experience better. I was a bit worried when I read red onion as an ingredient in the carbonara. I don't know if it was in there but the carbonara was great. I could tell there was no cream in the dish. Very silky and delicious! The grappa at the end was perfect.
