Ocotillo Restaurant

The menu is something to see, from small tapas-like dishes to larger meals. They all sound delicious on the menu - too many to select from. So, with the direction of our waiter and the bartender (from earlier), all four of us selected something different. Each meal was so outrageously good that we had to stop talking because we were too busy eating! Think about getting reservations, especially if you want ti sit outside.

Stepping into this establishment I'm instantly reminded of the southwestern aesthetic with a contemporary atmosphere. The staff is attentive, courteous and welcoming like you'd expect, but conduct themselves so naturally it's as if you're a guest in their home. The food is incredible. You can see, smell, and taste the talent the chef applies making each dish, and when you pair these meals with their extensive drink selection from the bar, mixed or poured with a high level of skill and professionalism from their bartenders you get the perfect experience which you will come to expect from Ocotillo. If you're ever in the area I strongly suggest stopping in for a bite and a drink, and staying for a few hours. You won't even notice the time fly by.

Apps and drinks were tasty. Would recommend the beef ribs done in a mole BBQ sauce.

I've been here 5 times now and everything is always so good! They get really busy on the weekends, so I recommend calling to see if you can make a reservation. I've only been here for lunch brunch and dinner and they have a pretty good size menu. Also, when you check in, you get a free coffee or mimosa on the brunch menu. I ordered their beef rib in mole sauce . I can't remember when I had such a great tasting rib, but they were huge and wasn't disappointed. I definitely want to come back to try their dinner menu. They also have happy hour as well and very cute patio seating.

Came for lunch. Such a tasty dining experience. TheBurrata, Cauliflower and Mediterranean Chicken was a broad range of flavors to enjoy amd share! :)

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised how big this place was. The food was amazing! I love the feel of this place. Will definitely return!

Had a chicken pasta dish that was very delicious! The dessert was small but rich and tasty. We ate outside and the atmosphere was really cool. My buddy got a brisket pasta that he said wasn’t the greatest. My other friend got a pumpkin pasta dish that was good but the scallions were undercooked.

Great ambiance, lovely lights! Service was kind of rushed but very friendly. Pasta was undercooked and almost crunchy but the sauce flavor was delicious.

Good food and great staff. I really enjoyed my meal but the duck pasta wasn’t our favorite. But all in all a good time :)

We have been to this restaurant several times when we are in town and always have excellent experiences. We chose Ocotillo for our wedding in November and they blew us away - the food was amazing, staff fantastic, Steve was professional, helpful and made sure everything flowed smoothly from beginning to end. Cannot say enough positive things about this place. Make sure to visit in the evening and sit on the patio out the back under the stars. The ambiance is some of the best Phoenix has to offer. Highly, highly recommend the Ocotillo chicken and the ribeye!

The pictures are not going to do it justice, but everything that was ordered at a table for 8 was delicious. Everyone shared and everyone approved. Especially happy with my choice as it was out of the norm, but the ricotta pumpkin ravioli with scallops was delicious AND filling. The atmosphere outside is especially cool and inviting like a fancy backyard bbq.

If you appreciate fresh, healthy, delicious food you'll love Ocotillo. I believe anyone can find something to love on this menu. I have special dietary issues and can always find something to enjoy. Love the small plates, salads, mains... everything has a special creative touch. The atmosphere is simple and clean, service is good as well. Only positive experiences here for my friends and family.
