CAUTION...if you like to have great cocktails DO NOT go here...our family went their in early July about 14 of us...while the food was mediocre the very expensive cocktails are a complete rip off..Most of us ordered the top shelf alcohol and until this day I have no idea what I was given as it was NOT top shelf anything. I am 50 years old from DC as such am use to paying a high price for premium drinks as we have some of the best/most expensive establishments here. I can TRUELY say, this establishment is the worst when it comes to premium cocktails...After we spend over $500 here, I didn’t even have a buzz and neither did my brother in law who never drinks but had two shots and also felt nothing...if I could give this place a negative zero I would...

Drinks were so damn sweet.. Gross. I tried three different and the margherita was trash... Everything else was good. Staff was awesome.

Hello. I am not one to write feedback to restaurants but I was so taken back today by our experience at Ocean 27 I had to let someone know. We spent $175 without tip for probably one of the worst meals we have ever had. My son got the rockfish taco’s which were so fishy you could smell them before you tried them. We switched it to the yardbird Sammy (which my wife and I also got) His took 25 minutes to arrive and all three were undercooked in the middle and could not be finished. The pound of steamed shrimp were also undercooked and couldn’t be finished. My wife’s margarita ($16) was so sweet it wasn’t even enjoyable. The waitstaff was pleasant but not around or responsive and never really seemed like they cared we were not having a good experience. We all left feeling slightly sick to our stomach. Great location. Good music. Clean but a massive tourist trap. We are new to the tidewater area and will not be back.
