O'Betty's Red Hot

First time to Athens, Ohio and we didn't want anything else but O'Betty's! Great hot dogs with fresh flavorful toppings, perfect fries and excellent customer service! Definitely will be back the next time we are in town!

This was nice enough. Hot dogs were good, but expect garlic fries and cheesy fries to be just that. Instead of being seasoned, there was a heap of garlic put atop the garlic fries. There was shredded cheese on the cheesy fries that was not melted. If you go there for the dogs, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Awesome staff! Delicious meals and will customize any item! Awesome and unique specials! Bring back the steak sammich!

Delicious Vegetarian Dog and chili potion. The fries were also tasty. There is limited seating.

We had the Dixie and the Mata Hari dogs with side of chili cheese fries. Very good and a unique experience. Chili is a bit spicy which may not be for everyone but we really enjoyed it.

Fun place, and great food. Hot dogs are high quality, toppings are fun, the veggie dogs are good, too. The museum isn't much but it's a fun novelty. I just love local hole in the wall establishments like this. So much flavor, heart, and hot sauce, who can say no to that?

I have eaten at O’Betty’s at least 100 times and I’m never disappointed. You will have the best hotdogs you’ll ever have here. Bob (the owner) is a great guy and has made this place a staple in the community over the years. The space is quite small, but doubles as a museum of sorts for everything hotdog and burlesque. It might seem like it’s not well kept, but the emphasis is clearly on the food. If hotdogs aren’t your thing they also have various types of sausage at any given time and their chili, garlic fries are very good. Do yourself a favor and stop in if for no other reason to check out the decor, but I highly recommend grabbing a bite. You will not be disappointed.

Great hot dogs of with many varieties of toppings. The have a small indoor seating area and even smaller outside area on the sidewalk.

If late night drunk food is the way you've experienced O'Betty's, then you're doin' it wrong. Come on in when the indoor seating/hot dog museum is open. Enjoy a carefully crafted dog and some crazy poutine. You will not be disappointed.

Unique environment, small dining area. Decent size menu, highly customizable. Basically they offer dogs and fries. Dogs are all beef dogs with a good casing giving it a great snap with a slight smokey taste (dogs also come vegan as well). The bun is toasted with gives the dog a great crunch. I am not a big fan on ketchup on a dog, furthermore I think the dog would do well with a more potent mustard. The fries are home cut. The chii-cheese fries were great a bit spicy but great on a cold day. Great visit, will be back.
