Oaken Barrel Brewing CO

We are staying in a nearby hotel and one of the employees during Happy Hour I overheard raving about this place. My husband asked, “Where are we going to dinner?” And I promptly replied, “Oaken Barrel”. So we headed there, it’s nearby, and it’s amazing!! This local microbrewery has been here 25 years and it’s worth a visit! The service was amazing, food was delicious, and the beer superb. This is definitely worth a visit!

Never will I ever go to a restaurant that doesn't comply with today's restrictions. Sitting at a table with wish TV Randal with no mask on and employee mask under chin. Great way to spread your germs. Sitting across table from each other not 6 ft apart. Randal shoving his microphone in the employees face and him not backing away. How can I trust that you make my food or serve people and follow restrictions. No thank you. Wish TV did you no favors with this interview.

Love this place. Usually only get here once a year. The service is outstanding and the food is very good. I have tried many food items and not one has disappointed me.

Fast friendly service. Good beer. GREAT FOOD! Don't bother coming on the weekends between 6-8pm unless you don't mind waiting for a seat.

Been a few years, been by a few times but always busy when we tried. Service and food were good. And beer was colder than the last time and that's a plus with me.

Rather disappointed. Ambience was so great, I thought the food would be wonderful. The appetizer nacho plate arrive and heightened my expectaions because it was awesome. Then our meal came...I got the NY strip and shouldn't have. Pale inside doesn't make rare and there was no flavor. Usually, when the waiter asks if I want A1, it doesn't bode well for the quality of steak. I should have gotten A1 :( the "sauteed mushrooms" weren't actually sauteed. Seriously canned mushrooms warmed in a microwave? The lack of beer choices was also a downer. Their 5 craft choices or Coors light...really? Come on, man. Have some options.Seriously disappointed.

The waitress was amazing. She juggled quite a few tables and maintained composure perfectly on a very busy night. My wife didn't care for the Chardonnay and did not care for it. The chicken wings were so tender and juicy. Cooked and sauced perfectly.

Lunch or Dinner they never disappoint! Saturday night with family seated within 15 with prompt table service. I enjoyed the sausage sampler with Snake Pit Porter. The family enjoyed cheeseburgers, chicken and fish. Great atmosphere and wife says the Coca-Cola is the best. If you want good beer or tenderloin this is the place!

Oken Barrel Brewing company is located near Greenwood downtown. This location has plenty of parking space. The ambience of this restaurant is amazing. We went to this place just after Thanksgiving day and the wait time was less than 30 mins. They have first come first serve policy and dont take reservations. I ordered the Razz wheat bear and Salmon with Champagne sauce, the beer had a distinct notes of some spice and I really like it a must try and the salmon was perfectly cooked and one of the best salmon's I have tried in some time. Kids order the cheese pizza and they loved it and I had to order another portion. The seating arrangements were good and staff was friendly overall I had an amazing experience and will recommend it if you have never been here.

Fantastic local spot with great pub food and decent beers. The Idaho nachos are amazing, and the sausage sampler is great as well. This restaurant is a staple in Greenwood. There is usually two special beers on tap. Epiphany during Christmas season and Apple Buzz during the Halloween season are always fantastic. The Randell during the summer is a good beer as well. My only complaint is the tired standard beer menu. That's really personal preference though. Service and food are always great though.

Great brewery with pretty good food. Staff was friendly and helpful, and everything we ordered was delicious.

Went for family dinner last Wednesday. 2 orders were wrong and the wait staff tried to talk down to my son when we definitely heard him ask for buffalo wings. Not sure how they got the steak so well done without burning it. Waitress put the check on the table as I continued to reach for it. Waitress threw the peppermints on the table in a huff. Everyone has bad days, but those we dealt with didn't even want to be there. It wasn't crowded or otherwise slamming the staff. Will not be going back.

Delicious food and great service. Monday night is all you can eat ribs so it was super busy. We enjoyed a flight of their beer and of course we liked some better than others but your able to buy some to take home which will be great. Dinner was amazing-I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had the claus sausage sampler which was more food than either one of us could eat. Our waitress was super good and the food came out quickly. Will be coming back again. Check it out it’s worth the trip.

Food and service was great. Atmosphere was very nice. Clean , inviting for all. Will be back. The potato chips(homemade)and bacon/cheese dip was delicious. Large serving. Wings were plentiful with lots if meat on them. Very impressed.
