Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo

Took a friend from Philly here recently for drinks and a view of the uptown skyline. We had a blast, crowded but we were able to find a spot on the outside rooftop with great views. The inside is mainly a bar with a small dining area. The outside rooftop is why you would come to TwentyTwo (the top floor of the hotel it's a part of in the EpiCenter entertainment complex). The views on a beautiful, warm evening are wonderful. Charlotte has a such a beautiful clean skyline!

Lovely rooftop atmosphere. Really enjoyed their crab cakes and beef sliders. Can't beat the view.

This was my first rooftop bar experience in Charlotte which was pretty cool.We sat outside on the rooftop because why would you sit anywhere else? The vibe was nice. There were plenty of couches to lounge on and it wasn't too loud. We just got drinks and didn't order any food. We got the Summer Gin and the Antioxidant. Both were good. I preferred the Antioxidant. While the drinks were good, they weren't great. They were also very expensive, even compared to other cocktail bars. I felt like they were more expensive and not as good as what you can get at other nice cocktail bars. I guess the rooftop lounge comes at a premium. The service wasn't great. It was kind of slow and sporadic. It was hard to track someone down when you wanted to order a drink. If you want a drink with a good view, this is your place. Just don't expect it to be cheap.
