Nova Era Bakery

As with most Portuguese bakeries/cafes, service is awful.You have to constantly get their attention to be served. They comeonce and that is it.Pastries are great and so is coffee otherwise.

Great desserts and pastries, quality servers and amazing sandwiches, I would recommend this place for anyone looking for decent Portuguese food

food is good but bad service and racist

I came here for the first time with my girlfriend and we found mold in the bread. In addition to that, another pastry we purchased did not taste fresh and we went around 3 pm. When we told the server, she did not seem apologetic at all and just took the pastry back with an attitude. We are disappointed and wouldn't go back to this place.

I ounce found hardened moldy pastry inside my dessert!🤮Big prices to!

One of the best place to eat eclair. Staff here is really amazing!

Service was horrible. We asked for chicken on a bun with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. They brought the sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, roasted peppers, onions, cucumbers no mayo. We told the guy that we didn't ask for all those extra things and his response was, (that's what she put on the order) and didn't change the sandwich and walked away. That's unacceptable.

I love this place!! They make the most amazing cakes! I always order here for every party I have, go the day before and place exactly the type of cake I want and they'll have it ready for the day after. Once I gave a picture for how I wanted the cake to be decorated and they nailed it! I love the custard tarts and hey have such a wide variety of pastries! The only thing is they I have trouble communicating because I don't speak Portuguese but just be patient and they'll be so helpful

Food was good, service fast and pleasant. Price are more than fair. Parking is the only challenge.

It is a great place to go with the family to have breakfast. The bakery is gorgeous inside!

Terrible service, decent food and prices. I've been here a few times and each time it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get my order. My partner and I went there for breakfast once and ordered two bagels with cream cheese. It took 15 minutes to get us one bagel! Then we had to wait another 10 to get the next one. It shouldn't take 25 minutes to toast two bagels. If it was busy I'd understand but it was dead. I could see the workers (who are mostly teenagers) chatting behind the counter doing nothing. Another time we were here we waited for our breakfast sandwiches and eventually went up to the counter to see what was going on since it had been a really long time and they forgot to bring it out to us. Whoever is the manager of this place you need to get your staff in order, they're terrible.On the bright side the food is actually always good and the prices are fair. But I don't plan on going here anymore because of the awful service and wait times.

Food is good here but personnel has no concept of customer service and sometimes I wonder if they speak English as their communication skills are absolutely terrible. Being friendly to customers doesn't cost anything and it seems like they hate you for ordering food. The manager of this place has some serious rethinking to do when it comes to hiring after the Covid.

I love it 🤗but I try to visit just once a year, because the deserts are simple delicious and I need lose weight 😂
