This was our first time ever at Taconooga. Service was good. Nothing great. Food was a little bland. We had fajitas. Maybe should have gotten tacos. Menu was a bit confusing. Price seemed a little pricey considering we shared the fajitas and only drank tea and the bill was $26 not including tip. May give it another try. Just looking for something besides Amigos.

The food was good. However we had to ask for water multiple times and we had ask for no cilantro on my husband's tacos twice. He cannot stand it. When his tacos came out they were covered in it. He ask if he could get tacos with no cilantro once again and our waitress looked at him and said "well you didn't say anything about it" but took his tacos back anyway. She brought the rest of the food out and handed everything to me to pass out. After that she pretty much avoided us and talked to us across the room passively. This was our only experience here but I can say we will pass on going here again.

Where to start!! This is about as authentic as it gets this far away from Mexico! We ordered red and green salsa, and queso to start things off, and none of them were a let down. I had a large burrito and rice which was really good. My wife had street tacos that were the best she's had in a long time! I will absolutely add this to my short list of places to eat again when passing through.

If you are searching for authentic cuisine, then this is your spot. However, the food was bland and lacked flavor. We had a party of 7 and only one person enjoyed their food. The server was pleasant. 😄

This place was great! We got pescado (fish), grilled chicken, carne asada (steak), and al pastor (pork) tacos and they were all delicious. We like that they have the glass bottled Coke too. The place is quaint, and we had great service. We will be back!

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my family. Got about 6 different varieties of tacos. All were great. Tortillas were super-fresh too. Nice place.

My wife and I didn't know what to expect coming here for the first time passing thru Chattanooga... The food was incredible! Now I see what their ratings were so high and it was definitely worth getting off the interstate a bit and driving into town for! Everything was fresh and homemade!

My husband and I ordered the Pescado tacos, Mexican street corn, The Big Nooga, and Fried Cactus and we LOVED it! We’re stuffed and have leftovers, but we’ll definitely be going back! This is truly a treasure for Chattanooga!!!

Delicious! Worth the wait. Don't go on a Saturday, it gets super full. Great food and friendly staff.

The best tacos in Chattanooga by far. We just moved her from Austin and this is the closest thing to the tacos we are used to getting in Austin. The Taconooga Steak taco is amazing and it is big enough to be two tacos (order extra tortillas). The staff is friendly, helpful, and usually the service is pretty quick. It does get really busy at lunch, so make sure you keep that in mind.

As the clock on the wall of this amazing establishment suggests, it's always time for tacos.
