Restaurant is dark and well air conditioned which was welcoming from a morning in the sun and heat.Went for lunch. Service felt very rushed, but they had few tables inside and quite a few people waiting so while it was kind of annoying, it was understandable.Had the crab dip appetizer and it was awesome. Family had a decent spread of the menu and everyone seemed happy with their orders though portions were pretty small, even for lunch.I got the fish and chips, and it was terrible. Only one small piece of fish which was rubber and very few fries. Came in a goofy funnel shaped basket that tried it's best to tip over whenever touched. Wound up dipping my fries in the remaining crab dip to avoid leaving hungry. If you find yourself already in the surrounding shopping area it's probably not a bad place to grab a bite, but certainly not worth a special trip here.

This place has the most friendly, welcoming, and yet, Professional staff, which is huge to us. The food is Off The Charts. The Chefs are Super Clean while doing what they do best, using gloves and continuously wiping counters down. They have the Best Long Island I have ever had, so it's usually one and done. Even better, we recently discovered we could boat to this location, following a brief walk. This is our favorite place to eat and drink, above all places in the OBX.

I loved this place. The food was very fresh and fast service. My husband order the crab legs and I order the oysters. It was yummy. We paid $20 for 12 oysters and it was well paid. I will definitely be back.

Long lines on summer evenings, but the food is absolutely worth waiting for. They don't take reservations, and to be seated, your whole party has to be there within 10 min of the call back, so stop by here first, then go shopping. At 6PM on Memorial Day weekend, the wait was 1 hr for party of four, and 2.5 hrs for a party of seven. Award-winning chowder, several varieties of oysters, local shrimp, awesome crab cakes, even really good salads. Different menus for lunch and dinner; the excellent NC BBQ is only available for lunch. Good selection of wines and cocktails.

Had dinner there tonight. Hostess was efficient, fantastic and friendly. Wait time was exactly as we were told. Food was incredible...best steamed clams in town. Crab cake appetizer was 100% crab...no filler. Filet cooked to perfection and the lobster tail was perfectly succulent. Run don't walk to this restaurant.

Very nice restaurant. With during our april vacation. It was great no crowds. My son and I had a great dinner from drinks, appetizers to a very good meal and dessert. Everyone who services us was great. The bartender make us some real good custom cocktails. We will be back on our next trip to OBX. Thank you for a very nice time.

Started with the raw oyster special, 2 varieties from PEI. They were very good. We also shared Atlantic halibut bites that were perfectly cooked. My wife had the halibut special that tasted fine but a little dry. I had the mixed grill. The beef skewer and tuna cooked rare were fine. The shrimp skewer was overcooked. Service was great. Drinks seemed overpriced .

One of the spots we go to at least once or twice every time we visit the OBX. Need to get there early or go for lunch as it often gets crowded. Sitting at the bar is another good option to avoid a wait. Steamed seafood platter is one of my favorites. Crab legs, shrimp and clams steamed perfectly! Bartenders are always great to talk with. Calamari and hush puppies were delicious. Family had the fried puppy drum fish, scallops, soft shell crab and salmon and all were excellent. Servings are big. Somewhat pricey but always feels like you get your money’s worth. Will be back.

Amazing food. Nestled in the Tim Buck II complex. Get there early, we went right at 5 and by 6 they were on a 2 hour wait. They don't take reservations.

Definitely check this place out if you're in Corolla. They don't take reservations so you're probably going to wait a little. Still one of my favorite places and lots of little shops near by.

get crowded quick so be prepared to wait. You'll be in for a treat though so don't be discouraged. They also have a lounge area, separate from the main restaurant where you can grab a drink while you wait. They have a great beer list but what you'll really want are the Crab Grenades! They're D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! We've been here plenty of times and have had a few of their menu items but I keep going back to those grenades. Another great item is the Spiced North Carolina Shrimp. They have some kick and a 1/2 pound is great as an entree!

Great food! Our server, Natalia K. was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond making sure we were well taken care of. We went during the lunch rush, and expected service to be slow due to that. However, we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't slow. Location is on the smaller side, but we didn't have any issues with that. Highly recommend, and will return the next time we're in the area. Thanks again, Natalia!

WONDERFUL atmosphere AND food. Servers and bar tenders are always friendly, and make you feel welcome. The renovation looks beautiful, a nice update for a longtime LOCAL FAVORITE place.
