Came here with my family we all enjoyed our meals. We were seated quickly for our big group which was very nice. Ordered a old fashioned sweet which was great! Our waitress was very nice but felt like she rushed us, I wanted to order another drink but by the time I was about to she had already put our bill on the table without asking if we wanted more drinks. Overall still would come here again.

Awesome food, awesome variety, great service, great atmosphere. Had a fantastic meal here with friends while traveling for work and was not disappointed. Everyone loved their meals as apparently it is a popular destination for my coworkers whenever they're in Madison. The only drawback for me is that it's in a strip mall, not a standalone restaurant, but that is not worth holding one star back for. Highly recommended.

2 stars is generous... totally disappointed! Service and food was nowhere near the prices they are charging, at least not for what we tried. Clam chowder was pretty tasty but microwaved hot.... crab was over cooked or sat in the water too long. Rubbery and not crisp too open. $28 steak wasn't worth $10.Waitress was horrible, Got order wrong, sat around on her phone while we asked her coworkers for things. Over $100 for 2 people....ridiculous!Horrible all around, save your time and money!

Ordered delivery first time customer.. Never heard of them..Was not impress they only give you 4 to 5 shrimp each. Not worth the price. Asked for beans, macaroni and got 2 macaroni(wasn't great)..The side caesar salad wasn't anything special and had old lettuce and not even parmesan cheese inside. Regular shredded American cheese, running caesar dressing..So I was not impressed for as pricey as they are they have just basic stuff that didn't even taste amazing. Limited to 4 to 5 pieces of shrimp for $17...hell red lobster gives u more than that and its actually good. Cheese curds weren't fully cooked...So it went in the trash. Me and my kids were not impressed & ordered pizza!

I take my family to this lovely spot often! This is the best place to eat. I visit this spot at least once a month. The meals are just great, the crew is polite and the prices are decent. I like meeting in this spot for a good dinner.

North South has quickly become our favorite west-side restaurant. The food is always great - my wife always gets the Boise (salmon in a cream sauce) and I usually get the burnt ends, which are amazing. For my taste, their food goes: Pork belly (it was on special one time and it was legit one of the best things I've ever eaten....haven't seen it since though), burnt ends, smoked prime rib (Sat special), brisket, TN ribs, KC ribs, pork, chicken, turkey in that order. I also really like the fried varieties of shrimp. The battered is a light batter and it's delicious. The coconut is really yummy, as is the firecracker. I didn't like the grilled or scampi as well. They have a wide variety of sides. I usually get double hush puppies. We've also always had really good service there. You can tell it's a very well-managed restaurant. All the servers are great and work their butts off. It's nice to have a place that does BBQ and seafood and does them both really well.

I was down in Madison for a business trip and needed a quick bite on a Friday. I came in and they were packed (I try to go for places filled by locals) and there happened to be a spot at the bar.Jesse, their bar tender/server was amazing and took care of me the whole time all the way from food to drinks. The atmosphere was great, employees friendly and the food was amazing and surprisingly cheap for what you get. I would certainly stop by again when I have the chance.

Great BBQ and excellent sides. One of my favorite places in Madison and one of the few with good BBQ. Been here a half dozen times and it's always good.

Order the Rib, Pull Pork and Brisket combo for $26. The Rib was dry and hard, not the (meat) fall off the bone type. Pull Pork and Brisket was not good either. For $26 the portion was quite small, this should of been a $15 dish. I’ve been to a lot of BBQ places and I know good ribs, brisket and pull pork. Service is a 4 star. I tip base on good service. Food wasn’t worth it but the service was good. Nice set up and dining area.

Hands down my new favorite restaurant. Friendly wait staff and quick service. The food was perfect and they know how to make a damn good old fashioned.

I absolutely love this place. My dad and I had the nicest waitress who was well informed with the menu and very helpful. The food was to die for. I enjoyed everything from the cheese curds appetizer to the brisket to all the tasty sides and even the BBQ sauces and dipping sauces were mouthwatering good. I will be coming back and hopefully it will be frequently. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and clean. I highly recommend this place and think everyone should try it!

The brisket is definitely worth a try - very tender and smokey but not overdone or burnt.

Very good food! Naturally I got the burnt ends as this place is a smokehouse. Having lived in KS for 5 years I know good BBQ and for WI, it’s pretty good. Some of the pieces weren’t consistent.. some were very tender and some were a bit dry. The sauce was decent too. We came when they had $4 old fashions. Amazing. The waiter suggested the fried pickles with ranch and they didn’t disappoint. I’d definitely eat here again. I love spicy so if the owner sees this... make a spicy 🌶 burger or pulled pork... something with some zip, please!!!

We love the options, between smoked meats and seafood, there is always something for anyone in the family. Friday night fish fry is a hit for any Madisonian and this place delivers. My son claims the Mac and cheese is the second best in town ( next to moms)! Great fish tank for viewing as you wait, if you get here late. Enjoy!
