North 45 Pub

North 45 is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. They have great Belgian beers, a good wine selection. And the mussels are top notch. They are always delicious, large and I can't seem to get enough of them. They also have really good salads, and of course fries, because he just can't have mussels without the fries (they're so good they won't last long). The space appears small, but there's also a very large outdoor patio in the back check it out I highly recommend North 45.

This place has a great atmosphere and huuuuge covered patio in the back that's even heated in the winter. They show sport events and have fun seasonal events. Decent beer selection with concentration on German styles (but not exclusively). They also have lovely signature cocktails which are decently priced during happy hour. They're food is excellent, though I seen some failures in consistency, getting a less than impressive serving of mac and cheese. Hopefully they sort that out because usually it's delicious!
