Nori Asian Fusion And Sushi Bar

Everything was excellent! I had the spicy tuna jalapeno poppers, the super yellow fin roll, and the Halloween roll. I loved it all. The Halloween roll had some sweetness that I didn't expect but it was very complementary. I thought it would be spicier but, I was not disappointed at all. I also had the Asian pear mojito and it was perfectly balanced. I hate overly sweet drinks and this was delightfully refreshing without the artificial flavors that other establishments offer.

I had the best experience here. They had just opened for the day and the staff was running late. But that didn't deter me from enjoying my time here. Enjoyed conversation with our waiter and his recommendations were on point!! Our sushi rolls were moist and presentation was exceptional. Decor and layout is just right for this area.

Nori is a pretty good restaurant and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. However, if you are a sushi devotee like I am, I would probably not recommend Nori. While the fish is okay, the portion and size of the fish leaves much to be desired. To feel actually “full” you have to keep ordering so you don’t leave hungry. If you order the sushi or sashimi lunch special, you will definitely need to order a few more roles or something to satisfy your hunger. I have been eating sushi for over 40 years and do so two to three times a week. Unfortunately, I would only go to Nori if I am going to see a movie at the Pointe movie theatre across the street and don’t feel like driving to Wilmington where I can get great sushi. If sushi and good portion is not that important to you, then Nori is not a bad option as they have other Asian infusion dishes that are pretty good. The service is hit or miss depending on the waiter. Happy dining!

We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent cuisine and refined atmosphere here! Very generous portions. I had Mongolian filet & shrimp and my husband the Red coconut chicken curry..Not too spicy..just right!! We've already picked out what we want to try next time!! Gotta go!!!

The food was good and freshly cooked. There's a nice appetizer range, and a wide array of sushi rolls. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Good variety of foods. Love seeing Mapo Tofu on the menu.

Over priced. If they want to be upscale I expect the server to be able to tell be about the dishes and what's on my plate. They couldn't, even when asked. Service was friendly but slow, food was ok but not any better than the average sushi place in town. We ordered the live scallop and it was a let down. Not very good.

This place is amazing! This is a great spot to have dinner if you are going to see a movie as well! The service is always friendly and fast and the food is absolutely delicious! It is my second favorite sushi place in Wilmington!

Went in for Sunday lunch. Had the Blue Crab Rangoon and the lunch Hakkanese Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Crab Rangoon had visual pieces of crab in the stuffing, but not the taste of crab; as usual, the taste of cream cheese. The Hakkanese Sweet and Sour Chicken was okay in taste, with pieces of red and yellow peppers and pineapple. Waitress forgot to bring out my miso soup.

My husband and I decided to go to Nori last night, after going to Pointe 14. It was very busy so we decided to take a seat at the bar. We started with some drinks, but I had to ask for a new glass because mine was dirty and had a leftover lipstick on it. Then we ordered some Kani salad and continued with some special rolls. The food was good, well presented fresh, service was good as well. The two waitresses behind the bar were attending and very polite. Other than the dirty glass we had a pleasant Christmas eve dinner.

Really good and they have a big menu. The salmon was pretty top notch and the fire shrimp was delicious.
