Nooshi is one of my favorite sushi spots in DC because of the fun rooftop and great happy hour specials. “Crazy hour†even extends to weekends (4:30 to 7 p.m.) — and all cold Saki and cocktails are 1/2 off. While you’ve got some specialty rolls that can run anywhere from about $8 to $12, you’ve got a whole variety of normal rolls that start at about $5 for 6 prices. It’s a great date spot for something more casual and fun, but still high quality sushi. Or a fun place to go with a group because of the amazing deal on drinks for “crazy hour.†I’ve had about all of their noodle and rice dishes as well — good quality and a great quantity (aka leftovers for a second meal to take home). Service is always super efficient too. Definitely a spot to hit up on the regular for a sushi fan in SE DC.

Great drink selection for happy hour. Server was attentive and food was delicious. I ordered drunken noodles which weren't spicy at all, so the waitress kindly brought me chili oil. Delicious!

Our waiter, Mark, went above and beyond to make our meal great. On top of that, the whole ambiance and food were outstanding from start to finish. Highly recommend. That’s for making our night so pleasant, Mark!

So the sushi is amazing, and the Godzilla roll in particular is perfect. The KFC wings and shaky beef are also just so good. Made my day.

Great happy hour!! Been there several times and only recently discovered the n upstairs bar and balcony area which is nice. Food is a little pricey, but that's expected due to location.

Everything about this place is amazing. The 2nd floor has a more upbeat vibe. The Singapore noodles extra spicy are a must have.

Went for a sushi making class and was excellent! George and Peter were the best. Quality ingredients and they were pros at showing the class how the make sushi. I'm pregnant too and they offered me so many options that I felt spoiled versus missing out. Even made me a virgin mojito because I couldn't have sake. Would 100% recommend. Cute place, good location, and has nice outdoor space. Only thing to note, bring cash if you are taking a class...it wasn't even suggested, but service was so good that I wish I would've brought Cash with instead of trying to find an atm. We'll be back!!

I love this place and go at least once a month. Get off at the Eastern Market metro stop. Definitely try the Phuket Noodle! Spicy but huge portions and enough for lunch the next day if it lasts that long!

Very good. It is upstairs above the Indian place. The sushi was great and the gyoza was really good.
