Delightful restaurant, nice friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed the band-). all staff were helpful. Clean and lots of room to move around, food was delicious. Beignets were really good, first time eating them. My first time at Nola on the Square great experience

Well cooked food. Great beer selection. Gumbo was spot-on. Oysters were almost perfect. Alligator was a touch over-cooked. Seafood bisque was right on the money. I can't wait to go back.

This was my first time here. Very warm and friendly place. Food was good and live band was great. Good drinks with a large bar and nice seating and fast service. Well worth a visit.

Went here on a Friday night. We we’re able to get a table outside which was nice and there was a jazz band playing inside the restaurant but it’s all open so they are right there & they sounded really good. Most of the dinner entrées are priced on the high side. It was a nice outdoor atmosphere in market Square. Louisiana pasta was excellent! Jumbo shrimp, sausage and fresh mushrooms had such good flavor, everything was delicious in this dish. If it came with a piece of garlic bread to dip in the sauce that would’ve been a nice added touch but definitely would get it again.Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was Horrible! The Chicken was rubbery and the French fries that came with it were cold so we asked for new fries and those ones came out hot and fresh. We should have sent back the chicken sandwich but we were hungry. Would not get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich!Would go back.

Great food and drinks, and nice covered outdoor seating during warm weather! This is a great location right in the heart of Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh. Nice spot for people watching or listening to live music. The outdoor tables have wide umbrellas, so you’re safe from the rain as well.

Very nice restaurant. Customer service was great. It's pricey. For my family, it's a special occasion place for us!

Not to bad... Beer was a decent price. Tried the Frog Legs... Really crunchy and tasty. I didn't feel the New Orleans spirit... The cooks will ask you about your food.. Staff is friendly. The place is really nice.

My first visit was the day after Valentine's. I was unaware of the limited menu until after I was seated with water and the menu. All 3 items I was considering weren't available. It was cold and I was hungry, so I went with the crab cakes. Bad choice. They were mushy, no lump crabmeat. I've had better from the local market. I had already sent 2 glasses of wine back that was too sweet (after stating I like dry). I didn't complain about the crab cakes. The manager did walk around asking if everything is fine. He also brought me an excellent glass of wine, on the house. I'd like to return for the live music & full menu.

(Catered lunch menu) Really good Gumbo appetizer. Order the Nola burger! Really amazing taste with the burger, really good.

I love eating at Nola when visiting Pittsburgh. Awesome cocktails and beer selection. The food could be better considering the cost. I ordered chicken and dumplings and the vegetables on top looked and tasted like they came out of a can.

Great southern-style food.... Fried green tomatoes, gumbo and also a wonderful salad. Great service and tasty food! Reasonable prices.

Honestly, it was perfect in every way! Went there for lunch with my husband. He has never been there, and I hadn't been there in years. We live only blocks away, but have never gone there because I told him it was always so crowded and cramped, terribly so. To my surprise, it's been remodeled, and wow what a difference. The interior was incredible compared to previously, and much more spacious. The food was way above par, the service from the wait staff and even the chef who brought us our food was impeccable and friendly. If you live here or are from out of town, it's a must visit for a pleasant dining experience with all the trimmings!

Been here many times. You can never go wrong with the pulled-pork Po'Boy. The Voodoo fries are always a nice blend of spicy and savory without burning your mouth to a point that you can't taste anything else. They always have interesting specials and if you are looking a taste of New Orleans here in Pittsburgh, Nola's is the best place to experience those flavors. Definitely the best restaurant in Market Square.

The staff and food was fantastic. The atmosphere is so fun. Bigger than it looks. Great for groups and takes reservation. Highly recommend especially for seafood lovers!

This is a fun place. I really enjoyed my visit here. The bartender was very nice and very knowledgeable about his mixed drinks. I had and old fashioned made with tequila, and it was great. They also have a great beer selection as well. I can wait to get back to Pittsburgh and visit here again.
