Niwa Japanese Restaurant

One of my faves. A relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming when I bring my young son. Great lunch specials.

I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve big portions.

Finally found a sushi place in Oakville that is as good as Toronto sushi

I tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am addicted since then. I enjoyed the good character and tasty food and beverages. 5 stars from me.

Great experience! Was with a group of friends and ordered a large sushi/sashimi boat and when we were done we played a game to dare eachother to eat the garnishment left lol. With our laughter we seemed to please the owners and was happy to see us enjoying ourselves there. They later gifted us each a fruit desert to eat (was down the bitter garnish lol). We were glad to bring a smile to them with our enjoyment!

The sushi here was amazing! Ordered the Dragon Roll Combo and Double Dynamite Roll for take-out. Came with spring rolls as bonus. Everything tasted fresh, balanced and delicious. Will definitely come back here!

Went for lunch and really had an enjoyable time. Small mom and pop restaurant in a strip mall that is nicer inside than outside. You wouldn't guess from the sign that the place unremarkable. Decor is pleasant and fitting, with the sushi prep counter right in the middle. Limited seating with booths too, but when we went it seemed like they were short staffed and service was not fast. Food was fresh and nicely presented. Good variety with Korean menu items also included in the mix. Prices are average. Large parking lot, but it is busy. Other restaurants are near by as backup.

Got this take out meal and couldn't be more disappointed... Look at the attached pictures. The pork is paper thin and lies on top of a whole onion... literally 20g of pork in the whole meal. A SINGLE TABLESPOON OF RICE! A scoop of week old salad. And for dessert, one butt peel of an orange and another peel as a bonus. All for only $13.47! They have no shame

A really tasty sushi place, the staff is very nice and the place is very clean. The only thing that could have made this a little bit better is if the choices were a little bit more accommodating when it comes to custom orders. As an example I really like salmon and having a sashimi plate with nothing but that would have really made this special for me.

Service was fine but the chefs were not polite

This small Japanese restaurant is in a very busy plaza. They have excellent service and great selection of vegetarian options. Prices are very reasonable, service is really good and the taste is good too. I would strongly recommend them grabbing a quick lunch.

This is great sushi! I enjoyed every moment of every bite... Just let the food linger in your mouth while you chew so you can appreciate the full impact of the freshness and taste.
