good food and good service with reasonable price

Food and service were good. We booked in advance and were assigned to a table upstairs. Ventilation is bad upstairs so the greasy fume from grilling meat filled the air, not a very pleasant experience. Not sure whether downstairs “the cave” area mentioned in other comments was any better. Food portion is big enough. We can’t finish every dish in the “special” menu and had to send some uncooked meat away.

The food is really nice, but i think the most astonishing was the raw meat with rice dish. Was very wary at 1st, but mixing it with shoyu and wasbi the taste was really good.

The atmosphere here is extraordinary. We sat downstairs in the “cave” and it was magical the food was amazing and the service was excellent. They allowed us to view the upstairs forest seating as well and that’s even more amazing. It’s not a cheap place to go on a date but it’s worth every penny.
