Fantastic place! Excellent staff. HUGE portions of food. I'm not kidding. The Gyro sandwich could feed two people easily. The cooks in the back can crank out food, so don't worry if you have a jumbo size family or appetite. So yeah, if you are hungry and love a delicious home cooked type meal, this is your place. I can't believe I haven't been here before. I'll be back soon. You won't leave hungry from this place, that us for sure. Also, fairly easy to get on 80 or 475. If you are on 475, it's worth breaking up your trip to come here, only about 5 or so minutes out of your way!

Generous portions, friendly staff, priced right for most budgets. Casual, nothing fancy atmosphere, and you're not paying for it. American & Mediterranean menu with enough variety to satisfy, even the pickiest eaters. They also serve breakfast all day long. Located near the Ohio Turnpike.

Good food, great value, reasonably priced, large portions!

I love the waitress we have every time, she's attentive and fabulous with my 3 year old. The breakfast we get and coffee is great!

Amazing food with fantastic service. The portions are huge. The Nick Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Two other members of my party ordered gyros, and they said they were phenomenal. Another member of our party ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they said the pancakes were great as well. Prices aren't too bad, and you get a lot of food for the price which makes this a pretty good deal. I definitely recommend Nick's Family Cafe.

My family and I have been coming here for years and never leave hungry. The food is great and there service is one of the best in Toledo!

This place was awesome on father's day and it was packed... going to go back on a non-holiday. Portions were great and prices are worth what you get.

Love this place. Nice size portions and friendly staff. Plus my omelet was epic (all meat) with the sausage gravy on the side.

Excellent breakfast, and such a huge quantity that we always bring food home! Service is good also.

The foods portions are out of control. Yes- I like a good portion of food...but this is exactly why the world is obese. We keep making portions bigger and bigger and bigger and it's so very hard to stop eating because its so good. Despite the enormous amount of the food....it was so delicious! Everything tasted great. I didnt even eat 1/4 of what was served and managed to have two additional meals the next few days and threw away half a to go container. Should we happen to be in that part of Ohio again, I'm sure that we would happily come back. My husband and his sister thoroughly enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. They both commented that it was perfect and it's hard to find a place that makes it right.

By far, one of the best diners I have ever been to in my life. I had the Nick's omelette and let me tell you it was seriously good. Definitely will be recommending to everyone I know. Staff were all very helpful

Very good food and lots of it also. Very clean and the employees are definitely helpful and courteous. Very rare for me to give an excellent review for a restaurant. Love this place.

I've now been here twice and I don't think I'll ever order something that doesn't include their gyro meat. That stuff is incredible. This time I got the gyro sandwich (and added Feta). Needless to say, it was wayyy too much food to eat as a pita/sandwich. I ate it as a sandwich later that night, as I wisely saved the pita 😂I got it with fries and a coffee and I only spent $16Quickly becoming a favorite.(Previous picture is from my first visit.
