Save your money. There are plenty of good tasting menu options in NYC with better service. They had some good wine selections with very stingy pours. I'm glad they gave me another glass when I asked. But overall the service was pretty bad. The servers were like helicopters rushing you to finish your food and in general had weird/unwelcoming attitudes. Very obviously trying to get people in and out quickly. Out of the 3, only 1 server was actually friendly. Also, at one point the entire restaurant filled up with heavy smoke from the kitchen because of pour ventilation, making it hard to breath for a few minutes. Lastly, the part that is the most upsetting, they added an extra $10 to the tip when I looked at my bank statement. Not something I'll call to make a fuss about, but it shows you the character of the servers.

Second time here. I am Baffled and slightly angry that i spent $200 for 2 people to have a 4 course food and wine pairing dinner and we were served 4 small plates between the 2 of us. Food and wine were good but we literally went next door immediately after to 12 chairs for a dinner. IF we had actually gotten 4 courses each (what we paid for) this would’ve been considered a typical (relatively small plate) restaurant in NYC. I will never come back.

I like the idea of this place but the wine pours are so small you feel like you’re rationing yourself with your meal. The food was good enough, I just think overall was a bit overpriced for what it was.

High quality dishes expertly paired with exciting and interesting wines. Delightful service and a very reasonable price point makes it nigh unbeatable in Manhattan!

This restaurant is essentially a scam. They give you shared plates and small tastes of wine at irregular intervals, and overcharge you for everything. It’s disappointing that so many restaurants didn’t make it during COVID yet this one survived. I’ve enjoyed Tokyo Record Bar and Special Club, so I wanted to give this place a second chance, but was even more disappointed the second time. Don’t waste your time or money.

Really fun experience with great service. Wine picks and explanations on background are top notch. The food menu on our evening was so-so, we had a charcuterie plate, salad, and a tomato pasta (vegetarian choice). The pasta is meant to be al-dente but was a little bit undercooked. I would still go back though because it was a fun experience! Perhaps they could do smaller plates and have a little bit more variety.

Love the place but the host with the long hair is very annoying. #firethehost

We enjoyed 4 course menu here at Christmas. A bit small portions but really good wones and athmosphere. This restaurant has great quality-price ratio!

A fabulous evening of wining and dining with a chic, cool vibe. The owner takes great pride in making sure she provides a unique dining experience for all. One of the most fun nights I’ve had in a long time. Wine and food were both incredible! Can’t wait to go back

Came here for my birthday and was super excited however was immediately disappointed . The atmosphere is incredible but that’s it. The $200 bill was a complete rip off. we had to share each course and the plates were SMALL. We each paid $100 to only share one meal. The food was okay but cold and the decor online isn’t what it looks like in the restaurant. They also don’t disclose on the website that you will be sharing all the courses. We left feeling hungry and not even a bit buzzed because the wine tasting is a joke they barely fill your glass. The sommelier was a little rude and could care lessAbout explaining each wine. The “hostess” only made a general speech and wasn’t around for the rest of the night. This is a advertised as a interactive dinner party and it was anything but. Don’t waste your time or money coming here unless you want to be ripped off.

Food is excellent, portion sizes were generous (helped by one dish being a pasta course) and service was very friendly. Biggest disappointment was the wine - we had made a reservation during a Sonoma themed week as that’s what was advertised on their social media, but when we showed up it had been changed to a Ruinart champagne pairing for the Frieze Art Fair. We would never have chosen to drink 4 glasses of champagne paired with dinner (I know, first world problems…) and had been really looking forward to trying the other wines. Would be hesitant to plan another visit ahead as a result; might try as a walk-in if in the neighbourhood and the menu looks good.

Five stars for the wine quality, but seriously, I have done tasting menus all over the city and I have never left still hungry. The food is good to very good quality but at over $100 per person I don’t expect to be sharing three small plates and a dessert sized for one. The wine pours were also about half of what is typical - truly just a taste. I was extremely put off by the forced cheering at the outset, but it is the complete failure of this place to deliver anything close to value for money that will keep me away in future.

It's a dinner party with fantastic wine as the starting point... and then amazing food pairings for each course of wine. The staff are not only trained professionals working at a very high level, but they're also enjoying what they're doing and not shy about sharing that fact. It makes it great. :)
