Much better than it has been. We've been going here for some years now. When we started I would have given it 5 stars, but then the quality dropped, and I would have given it 2 or 3 stars depending on the day. Today everything was excellent except for the saag. They probably just need a new recipe or to go back to a much, much earlier one, because then it was excellent, too. I'm just so glad the general taste has improved.

Postscript - After a day in my fridge, the leftovers tasted very well seasoned! I guess the seasoning needed a little more time to develop.First time and dine-in. Very generous portions - enough for two meals. Service was courteous and attentive. Very pretty inside with a painted mural. Food was good My only issue was that I felt the food overall was somewhat underseasoned - I'm used to more spices. I'll try a curry dish next time.

Our dinner started with complimentary papadum served with a daal-like sauce. It was a nice surprise but the papadum lacked that oh so crisp texture which could've been helped by popping it in the toaster oven for a minute or 2.I thought the restaurant was a bit overpriced. $14 each for saag chicken and vegetable korma. Having said that the saag chicken was good. Chicken was moist and saag was creamy with a nice spice blend but it didn't have the subtle nuttiness that elevates it great. Vegetable korma was too sweet with a weird thick starchy consistency. We ordered plain naan which was a bit doughy and didn't have a lot of char or many air pockets.Service was great - prompt and friendly. Ambience is nice. I may go back since it is hard to find Indian restaurants S of Portland but I would stay away from the kormas.
