New South BBQ

Been two days in a row, yesterday the food was pretty good but unprofessional environment. Today, the yams ROCKED!!! But they tried giving me a rock hard looking roll and I wanted hushpuppies but the owner said no. The bbq chicken was a bit tough, but tasted OK (nothing to brag about). However, I will not be going back. Too UNPROFESSIONAL. Nor would I recommend.

I absolutely love this place. It seems that the only choices for BBQ around here is Eastern NC style. It's good, but Texas style is the best. You'll love the pulled pork BBQ along with their ribs . The sauce is red ( my favorite ) that is a little sweet, but has some heat in it. But the scene stealer here is the brisket. Most folks around here have never had access to authentic Texas Brisket. Dwight's brisket is absolutely awesome. They also have good sides to go along with their meats. The servings are very generous and you do get your money's worth.
