I walked in here for the first time a few years ago. I got weak at the knees, and shed a tear. It reminded me of going to see my Babcia from when I was a little kid. The smell, and then the taste of the baked goods took me back to my childhood, and made me emotional. Thank God that this little treasure of the the old Hamtramck is still here!

There's a LOT if choices here including a small deli selection. Prices aren't too crazy but we easily dropped 25$ just to try an assortment. There is a fee added on for using a card which I wasn't aware of. I asked about it after we had already paid and got a vague response like, "the bank does it". 😒. Cash is King here to avoid those charges.

Packzi Day...I ordered all specialty packzi's. $30/dozen. The line was around the building. However, I wished I would have gotten standard packzi's, as the specialty ones were dry and filled with waxy flavored frosting. So disappointed. Ended up at purchasing more from another bakery and tossing the expensive/fancy ones.

They did a terrible job on my mom's Birthday cake (the cake was flavorless and old) and were very rude to me when I came to return it. I will not be returning. A store bought cake would have been better.

Today, I picked up my order (A-8) placed last week. Very disappointing. My order pick up was for 8AM. I arrive before 8AM and the bakery is closed . The sign says open at 9am. So I have a hour wait. Next, one of the raspberry paczki had NO FILLING !!!! This is not the first time a paczki had no filling. Also, the glaze on the raspberry paczki had melted. There was no glaze anymore. How far ahead of time was this order made? At least a day? I paid $29.45 for a dozen and very dissappointed. Will not be buying paczki again.
