New China

I base my reviews in two parts, one of the cleanliness of the facility and kitchen because that matters just as much as the food itself. The second part is on the food.This restaurant is decently clean and there is no signs of mold or mud anywhere. That said though, the facility is worn out and a bit disheveled. I worry that one day things will get out of hand and fall apart.As far as the food goes, this is by far the best Chinese take-out in all of James City County. The lunch deals are awesome, the flavors are rich and the meat is tender yet savory. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Not very good crab rangoon was not fresh will not come back.

Quick service and good food. I didn't think this had the more typical greasy Chinese food taste to it. Placed a carry out order and it was ready in 10 minutes. The woman who took my order and gave me my food was very friendly and helpful with explaining some menu options.

Beef and broccoli!

My husband and I tried New China after our go to place for years closed. I was seriously disappointed in the food. Neither of us liked any of our typical favorites. It tasted cheap and was really expensive compared to other take out we’ve had.

I ordered from here off postmates and thebfoodbwas horrible and the guy i spoke to from the restaurant was rude and only said they dont deliever and then said they dont have my card on file and hung up on me dont eat here its a bad experience all the way around also the prices on postmates is not the right prices i got charged double what i origanly waa told

Grease but tastes good and fast service

I think it is really impressive that the owners have hired an AUTISTIC girl to be their counter person. She has a lot of social anxiety, it is obvious if you talk to her. She tries really hard to get things right and with patience on the customers side she does a good job. The food is good for a cheap and quick meal. I have talked with the girl, her name is Sara, and she said it is hard for her to hear about the mean reviews people leave. Maybe we should learn more patience ourselves.

Food is great, service quick, and prices good.

First time here today. Bourbon chicken & S&S chicken. All the Chinese food prices in Williamsburg are recently too high. Along with the removal of the small portion size... forcing me to buy large. However, that is the only thing keeping me from giving 5 . Food is great along with portion size. Service was friendly. I also don't think I taste MSG which is a plus, if so. Highly recommend for your to go orders!

Service was great, and super fast!! The wonton, hot and sour soup, and spring rolls were delicious. My kids LOVED the plain Lo Mein. The Sesame Chicken was a bit over breaded and dry, but packed with flavor. Over all a great spot for a quick bite. They do have tables to eat inside too.

Best Chinese take out in town

Restaurant appearance was decent. Not overly impressed with the meal, ordered shrimp egg foo young it was burnt not very flavorful, if it weren't raining and time allowed I would have gone to Top China
