This place is amazing.

This place has fantastic Burek/Banitsa and european imports.

I always love coming here. The people are always kind and welcoming, and the food is always excellent.

Great selection of foods. Best Bulgarian store in Michigan. Banitza, Boza, Lukanka, They have it all. Even Bulgarian beer. Nessie Foods is the best.

I've ordered catering for a big party of people! Delivery was on time, prices are great and service is always good! I missed having a Bulgarian store in Michigan and Nessie definitely delivers!

The skinless sausage is where it's at! Pork preferred, beef is good too. The spinach and meat pies are decent in flavor. I'm not exactly sure if it was supposed to be doughy in the middle however or if was a bit underbaked, either way I didn't get sick from it so whatever. My only complaint is they use vegetable oil like many other places. Please do the research on the harm that comes from using any type of vegetable, canola, soybean, partially hydrogenated oils because it's all terrible for health. If you switch to real butter, lard, olive oil, coconut, or real fats it will make a giant difference in not only health but it would impact the flavor and bring it to a higher quality. That said, the flourless Walnut cake was very delicious. I loved the selection of what you had for sale and the organic Bulgarian yogurt is very good!
