Great sandwich and lettuce wrap experience today. I happily stumbled across this place after a visit to the Como zoo in St. Paul. When I asked for lettuce wrap instead of bread, I expected one piece of lettuce. I was shocked to see a whole salad wrapped around my sandwich fillings! Keep up the great work

I've been going here with my parents since I was little. The food is always wonderful, I love the meatball sub ❤ it's a small space and gets crowded quickly. There's no seating, so we either go over to a picnic table by the zoo or just sit on the bus stop bench out front. Fun soda and candy selection too!

Prices are a bit steep for what it is. The Nelson's in spring lake park not only tasted better, but also had better prices. They were super slow (I was there for like 20 minutes while they made one sandwich). I'd rather go to subway. Other then that if you have the extra time and money this is a healthier option then most.

Their hero and meatball subs are the only two sandwiches I've had, they were both top tier. Plenty of meat, fresh veggies, tasty red sauce, fresh bread. Wide variety of chip and soda flavors/brands. Cake slices, peanut butter rice crispy w the chocolate top. They make salads too, and let me say, those veggies look fresh, like ready for an advertisement fresh. It's a very legit spot.

Everything is of the highest quality. I love the soda and chips collection as well. There is more to buy than just cheese and meats...There's plenty of snacks as well from gummies to chocolate covered pretzels. Definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a good sandwich.

The absolute best sandwich shop in the cities. Would recommend to a friend. Been to a few of their locations and this is my favorite. The gentleman wearing the bandana is great at what he's doing. I've started getting lunch here more regularly.

Lunch time at Nelson Cheese and Deli is always a good choice. This is a dine out only, parking is tight, but the food is delicious. I am a repeat customer. If you call ahead, you can avoid long lines at peak lunch rush times.
