FIVE STARS but given sadly because after having gone there for YEARS I called this morning while sick, to get a delivery only to get a constant busy - thought get some air only to find it has BEEN SEIZED BY THE LANDLORD!! :(

We came across this little diner while walking down Lexington. The menu was all inclusive and seemed like a great place. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the selection of Greek food on the menu. What was even better was the hospitality. The owner, Nick, spoke to us multiple times and explained his Greek background which explained the fantastic gyros and spinach pie. Between the food and the hospitality this was the best dining I have stumbled across in NYC. I would highly recommend this restaurant and especially the gyros.

Great place for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are very attentive and courteous. Been coming here for 11years.

Neil's has a little bit of everything! Breakfast all day, burgers, wraps, salads, smoothies, and milkshakes. There are also many vegetarian options. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for this area.

Just made it in, it's 12:45am, we're looking for food. This place has breakfast croissants. They were absolutely delish. We were a bit starved but it hit the spot. They are a bit pricey but worth it. Now we can go to bed satisfied on our first night in Vegas.

My favorite Diner in the Upper East Side. Try the Burger!

Classic old school diner. I’ve walked by it a million times but finally got to enjoy a late breakfast there today. No BS. Super fast service. Solid coffee. It was pretty packed but anyone who came in got seated promptly and I didn’t feel rushed out, even when I lingered for a bit to sip my coffee. I got 2 eggs over easy with home fries and rye toast. I don’t always eat the toast but I must say this toast was exceptionally SLAMMIN. I didn’t even butter it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.Boyfriend got a turkey triple decker with fries that he thoroughly enjoyed as well. He agreed on the toast.I’ll definitely go back next time I get the chance.

This is my review.I live in Chelsea. I have to take 2 trains to get here, go uptown and walk 4 blocks.When I want a great burger, cooked to perfection, this is where I go.Yes...it’s THAT GOOD.Terrific service to boot.The End..

Classic NY greasy spoon! Prices decent, service ok with usual attitude. Go if you want to feel you are in the city in 1950. Good for breakfast!

Cute place with surprisingly big seating space!The place has a big menu selection. You can come for just coffee or even dinner!

Good breakfast options in a nice neighborhood. Menu may suit all tastes since it has many items to offer. Recommended!

Very neat and classy. Enjoyed a nice Almond Latte with some music and did some work on my computer.

Historical diner type establishment. Great nostalgic venue to have a good breakfast or lunch. Nick- your a champion! All the best in keeping the legacy alive.

We were sure glad we did. Nice cozy place with good fresh backed food and coffee. We liked it so much that we went back again the same day for lunch after spending time!
