One of the best Tempura we had. There might be a queue. It's better to go early.

Food is good and a bit special, pretty good view, at least at night, service is awesome

Found this place by looking across the small river and liking the look of the place. Tried our fist sukiyaki and Japanese pancakes, both delicious! Great sake, staff and very cute decor inside. Would go back in an instant with teleportation.

Stumbled upon this absolute gem. Food was dynamite. Whoever rated this place low must not like Japanese food. Wide variety and everything is great. Recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Great restaurant tucked into a little alley in Kyoto.The staff were very friendly and made some great suggestions for seasonal foods.

The real closing time is not 15:00 but 14:00 so it is a wrong information, when it is raining it can be problematic...

I think the chef is awesome without question, but the manner of receptionist (tonight, about 8 pm , Oct.11) is totally not as same good as their cuisine ，how can you shut down the door immediately before your customers , we didn't even spit a word , so rude . It's a shame , really .

It's not worth waiting for at all. It's not welcoming environment. Some servers were very rude. There's nothing special about food. It's the most unplesant meal I've ever had in Japan.

A great experience which I wish I had time to repeat on this trip. The staff are attentive and the chef was very helpful. A highlight of Kyoto and left happier than ever. I’d highly recommend the duck.

Seriously, just go and eat. Foods are amazing.

By far one of the best restaurants in the region. A true sybarite's delight. The dishes are plenty for two persons to share, the staff is friendly and the place gorgeous
