Best lodges anywhere (just like Sun valley). For long black diamond groomed runs, head for John Paul lift. Both the John Paul and Needles lodges on top of the mountain are exquisite with amazing views. Great terrain options. Plenty of fun long groomed runs. It's like a bigger version of Sun Valley without the cute town.

Friendly staff, great facilities! Would enjoy riding again on a powder day! The bathrooms are extravagant, as are the light fixtures and chandeliers...no idea why, but I did enjoy having nice facilities. New lifts, gondolas, etc... curious lack of and/or small size concession areas, but again, the bathrooms are amazing. The base has what looks like some fine dining options. Or maybe they are regular dining options and I couldn't tell because the whole Lodge was decked out. Either way it was a nice place with friendly people and I think the steeps would be amazing on a powder day!

The people who choose Snowbasin feel that because the Olympics were held there in 2002 that the objective is to go as fast as humanly possible. There are no rules there. Normally you would be mindful of the people below you. But not at Snowbasin. If you're not doing 84mph on a narrow blue trail then you're wrong. The bathrooms were very elegant and the smoked turkey sandwich was amazing.

Well kept. Great for families. Super helpful staff! They have an amazing low grade hill for the little kids and it's even serviced by a high speed quad and had a little mini terrain park. Super cool!

I try to ski twice a week and bounced all around northern Utah. Snowbasin it's my favorite. The good:1. Gondolas are out of the wind and go way up the mountain fast.2. The mountain is beautiful.3. Wide variety of terrain. 4. Good safe and fast roads to the resort.5. The lodges and bathrooms are beautiful.6. Excellent ski school. The bad:1. Weekends can be busy.2. The Impossible Burger is no longer available at the grill ☹️.3. $1 cookies are only available at 3.

We had such a great day, the place was packed but it was barely noticeable. All the staff were super friendly and courteous. We went for my son's birthday and the staff were all excited for him when he told them. We will definitely be back soon. We've come here before but this trip was great.

The staff is simply AMAZING!! Very friendly, helpful and patient! The views are to die for!! I went up to the lounge and the tomato bisque soup was a hit! The restrooms were clean and the resort itself was very easy to get to. As a first time skier (age 38), I took a lesson. I've ice and roller skated before but that's it as far as wearing special shoes for an activity! Those ski boots are tight and hurt your shin! I would have stayed longer had the boots been more comfortable lol! Nevertheless, "The Dave" aka Dave Peterson was an amazing trainer and very encouraging! Thank you again everyone!! This will be something I never forget!!

Went here with the family to walk some of their many trails. They were easy to walk and not very crowded! I have been here for multiple events also and the facilities are top notch!

Had a chance to sneak off during the week and go snowboarding here. Worth the drive. Outstanding time and great pot pie. I also have an allergy and they were extremely accommodating.

They have down hill mountain biking

I stayed at the best Western in Ogden, 30 minutes away, very good place. If not I'm sure there are plenty of places closer by

We did!

I'm not positive if sleds are allowed, *EDIT just saw a couple sledding under the John Paul Lift with multiple tracks.* I've seen many families sledding on an off-property portion of the mountain just off the side of the road on the way in; just before the upper parking lot. I used a couple pull-along-sleds and towed the kiddos around the front lawn/snow area without incident just prior to leaving. We were there skiing, but we did tow the kiddos around for a few afterwards. During winter, Snowbasin is a winter sports resort, with focus on skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, and offer rental equipment, but no sleds that I'm aware of. They do have a children's area inside, and a family friendly snow zone for families beginning or learning to ski. Overall, it's a fantastic and amazing place to learn for all ages. See https ://www.snowbasin.com/resort-services/childrens-center/ for additional services. I say rent yourself and your little ones some ski equipment and come join the fun!!

The gondola only runs Saturdays and Sundays for summer
