Napoli Trattoria & Pizzeria

What a great family run restaurant. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We had the grilled calamari, sea bass and Parmigiana and all were excellent!! Don’t miss this one if you’re in Napoli 👍👍.

We went there on the strength of rave reviews. Perhaps our expectations were too high. Sure, the seafood was fresh, but we found most of their food on the salty side. The bread bowl with seafood inside, apparently their signature dish, was not that tasty in my opinion. Their octopus salad, although fresh, was also salty. We then had the fried seafood basket. Again, the seafood was fresh, but it was a bit on the salty side. By this time, I’m wondering what all the rave reviews are all about. The waiter then recommended grilled sea bass at 20 Euros. That one finally was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We have eatean at many different places in Napoli and this place in my honest opinion doesn’t deserve 4.4.

Expected a mind blowing experience due to all that reviews, but disappointed. Since the prices are not displayed on the menu, we ended up paying 60 euro for 2 and the experience did not live upto that. The waiters create an impression that they want you to hurry up things, which essentially makes you nervous. While at some table they served a complementary lemon cello, we did not get (even after spending that much for 2) and I thought because they wanted us to leave ( since some people were waiting outside ? I don’t know). There are many other restaurants serving great foods, and this place doesn’t really live up to the reviews. Not recommended.
