I'm Malaysian so I had to order our national dish nasi lemak. Very disappointed! Sambal was served on the side and lack authenticity. The plate was confusing- the beef and chicken were slapped together. Wished it was acar or fresh cucumber slices, rather than steamed vegs. The anchovies were under fried. The egg was missing!

Everything was great - clean place and delicious food. I ordered Hainan chicken rice, which was nice. Also definitely try the dessert pudding 🍮 super! But be aware that most of their dishes are meat. If you like veggies, choices will be very limited. Also if you’re looking for a very balanced meal, this might not be the place - as in the Hainan chicken plate, all veggies I got was that two pieces of cucumbers.

Lacking authentic spices and favor of the Singapore, Malaysian area. Could only taste the coconut creme sauce. The chicken satays were disappointingly soft, limpy, need more time at the BBQ grill.

I have been here twice and food never disappointed me. The small snack and sauce show they focus on details.

Excellent quality, modern and casual ambience, with genuine Singaporean flavors. Really respect their mission to bring new food experiences without watering down the flavors. They have some adventurous appetizers which are delicious. The chef said she will be experimenting with bringing other apps into the rotation. Can't wait to try them all. Even their takeway pecan snack was unbelievably yummy.

I came here with a friend on a Thursday night and there was no line to get in so we got seated quickly! Food: I got the Laksa noodle soup and it came with a bowl of chili and some sweetened nuts! I actually found the noodle soup to be a little bit spicy but it was not too big of a portion size. The tofu didn’t really absorb the flavor and the noodles broke apart quite easily but the taste was savory and a little sweet thanks to the curry! Service: The waiters don’t come around too often and you have to pay yourself up front at the cashier!Ambiance: Very casual!Overall, wasn’t extremely impressed but this was a place I hadn’t yet checked out!

Full of flavor and spices that emanate from the broth. Essences of shrimp, coriander, lemon grass, spices in each bite of the tender chicken curry and noodles. Simple, clean menu in a rather new, small restaurant. Memories of Bali, Indonesia will dance around in this restaurant. The enticing menu will make you want to revisit to at least try their sticky black rice desert.

The food was terrible. I used to live in Singapore. The Laksa was lukewarm, the fried tofu in the laksa was tasteless, the soup was just salty and lacks flavor, the hard boiled egg was very hard boiled. The hainan chicken was tough. On the positive side, the servers were very friendly. The chili & lime dipping sauce with the hainan chicken was good.

Good laksa, good service, but long wait. We would go back.

I have tried the Laska and Pork Satay. As a native Singaporean grew up and live in the SouthEast Asia region, my comment is not savoury enough for both Laksa and Pork Satay but taste wise just ok, to quench my strong desire for SEA food. A bit disappointed without the authentic taste. I heard the owner is an Indonesian which I think perhaps I should try Beef/Chicken Randan with Rice, which is Indonesian/Malay speciality next time. Looking at the Hainaese chicken rice from the other table, it does not look authentic to me but it could be tasty. Nevertheless good to have an SEA eatery option. Might try again next time and hopefully, it improves with more authentic taste.

Hainan Chicken rice was okay. Wish there were less chicken breast and more chicken thighs, legs etc. Chicken soup was good 👍

Great place to have a quick meal or meet up over lunch/dinner. Food comes out quickly and and service is friendly. We got the laksa with shrimp, Hainanese chicken, and grilled fish appetizer. Everything tasted sooo good! I can’t wait to find an excuse to come back.
